Kona Cafe breakfast 7:30am reservation.

We are planning on going to Kona Cafe for breakfast one morning - we have a 7:30am reservation (staying at Poly).

I am wondering when we should show up? If we arrive the recommended 15 minutes early will they seat us if we are really there at 7:15am? Or should we just get there closer to 7:30

Our goal is to try and eat a nice TS breakfast but also be done and out to hopefully arrive at MK shortly after opening (which right now is 9:00am). We don't have to make it for the opening show.

Any thoughts or experience with the first reservations of the day? I am sure many others will be lining up for breakfast reservations so i certainly don't want to be showing up close to 7:30 then having to wait 15 minutes to be seated. I've never really done a restaurant opening reservation.

I would show up 5 or 10 minutes before. The few times we have been there were hardly any people and they were not ready to seat anyone on time.

I would show up no earlier than 7:25 am. I have never had to wait 15 minutes to be seated at Kona no matter the time of day.

Agreed with above on when to arrive. look at the menu online ahead of time to order right away. Tell your check in hostess / server you have to be out by 825am (to get to MK on the monorail for opening and not be too crowded).
They are always accommodating.
