We'll be staying at the Poly next week. Is it necessary to get ADR's at Kona for breakfast? Is it consistently crowded each morning? When does it open? We would want to dine early. Thanks!

I think it depends on the time of day and what day of the week it is. Early in the morning, when Kona first opens, no problem or wait. Around 9:30-10:00 things can be busy.

I think if you have a specific day that you would like to do this for breakfast and know the day, I would make an ADR for breakfast...either when you get there or prior to arriving.

You can always call the night before too to make and ADR. Weekends I would guess would tend to be busier than weekdays. And like the PP said, time makes a difference.

Now I want Tonga Toast, thanks a lot :headache:
j/k :)

Normally we have not- but lately it has been pretty crowded and I couldn't get an ADR.

We stayed at the poly last year and I just went without adr to eat there in the mornings. I went around 7-730am and there was hardly anyone in there. I"m sure if you plan to go around 9 or 10 its busier but first thing in the morning was really nice.

Thanks, everyone! Our mornings will mostly start out being at the parks for rope drop, but the menu looked mighty tasty so we may go for a 7:00 meal one morning and will just chance it. I'll eat some tonga toast for you! :thumbsup2
