Kolhs/ Walmart, Pj's

I was crazy and went to black Friday at Walmart. We had a good time, got the TV, I-pad, scooters, pogo sticks and pajamas. Pajamas were $4.50 at Walmart. I bought 5 pair for grandkids. We go to Kohls on Friday, and do a little shopping, while waiting in the insane line, I see the same P'J's at 60% off. They were selling for $11.99. That is just insane. I know you really have to watch Kolhs for price hikes, but that was ridiculous.

I rarely buy anything at Kohls. I think their prices are just crazy high. The only things I have bought from Kohls have been on the 80% off racks!

With Kohls you have to factor in things like Kohls Cash. Also, you can't beat their return policy. If your kids are hard on clothes that may count for something.

Have to say I LOVE Kohls... Love Love Love them.... buy tons then... but it has to be onsale... remember Black Friday is different and make sure they really are the same... i RARELY see items at Walmart and Kohls the SAME in the clothing section...

Well Kohls knows that people will spend that much more in order to not shop at Walmart. I hate going to that store on a regular day, I wouldn't go near it on BF even if it meant saving $30 on PJs

Ah....but if you had the Kohls $10 off $10 coupon they sent out, along with the extra 15% off Black Friday coupon, one pair would have been only $1.69....if you are in the market for only 1 pair (like I was), Kohl's trumps Walmart.

You just have to be aware of ALL possible deals at any given store and know your prices. Then figure out the best deal for you. What's best for one person isn't necessarily the best for the next.

Yeah, I only pop into Kohl's once in a while. My son likes to get his shorts from there (I guess they're longer in the leg?) And I'll look around at the clothes and will buy a couple things here & there for the boys but they HAVE to be on clearance. I remember last summer I bought my him 4 pairs of shorts and once I rang out at the register, the cashier circles my savings on my receipt and tells me that I "saved" $90!!! WHAT? I only bought 4 pair of shorts, how on earth can I "save" $90, were they like a million dollars a piece to begin with? LOL

I might be wrong here, who knows, but to me their normal prices are so astronomically high that when they put the "sale" prices up it looks like you're getting such a good deal but are you really? Their "on sale" prices look like normal prices at other stores.

Like others mentioned, I will buy some of my boy's clothes there but they have to be on clearance. The other thing that I like to get there because I haven't found them elsewhere is a scrapbook album. I really like them there.

You aren't wrong, but anyone who shops at Kohls pretty much knows this. I can't say that I have ever purchased something that wasn't on "sale", and even then its always combined with a % off coupon, or Kohls cash promo or the nice $10 ones they are always sending, or all of the above at once. I manage to find great deals at Kohls, much better than any other store.

As many said before you have to know your prices at Kohls- as with anywhere else too.
Because of all the extra % off I've found some awesome deals no one could ever match.

A month ago I bought a leather coat w/ lining for $12.00!
