Kohls-Order time concern. Anyone order from Kohls.com?

Hey. Wacky question, I know, but I just ordered new luggage from Kohl's for our trip (leaving Nov. 11th.) I didn't even think twice about it and placed the order for standard delivery. I mean, its only Oct 22! When I went to check out, it listed my delivery date from btw Nov. 6 and Nov. 13th :scared1: !!!

Oh crud.

I can't change the order, and I can't get thru to Cust. Service, but I keep thinking, "Could it seriously take that long?"

Has anyone ever ordered from Kohl's online? Do they really take 3 weeks to ship? I'm thinking about trying back during normal hours and canceling and re-ordering w/ priority. But, we're on a budget and I hate to spend extra money (the luggage had a free shipping deal... that's 1/2 the reason I ordered.) Sorry for the whining.
 
I've ordered alot of things from kohls.com and it never took more than one week - even a big bedroom dresser mirror came in a few days. I wouldn't worry.:)
 
Thanks! I'd normally blow off a ridiculously long date like that... but, I'm becoming somewhat obsessive about planning this trip (and our current luggage is a hand-me-down of a hand-me-down and I'm honestly not sure it would survive the trip! - We gave up on its wheels long ago, and we'll be toting a toddler and all the equipment that requires this time.)

Can you actually order from Kohls.com? Every time I go to their website I put one thing into the shopping cart and then when I go to the next item it clears the first thing out. I keep getting a website error message. :headache:
 
I ordered a bunch of stuff and it came in two days. I was expecting the full five business days. I suspect it just depends upon how busy their warehouse is and how quickly orders are being filled.
 
I ordered luggage last spring and I remember it came from a warehouse in Utah. I think this is why it takes a little longer.

Yes, MM27, there is a Kohls.com. :lmao: And, you can order from it. But, when I tried to contact CS on the phone, I couldn't. So, apparently, you only get one or the other...
 
My last few orders took quite a while to get here - like between two and three weeks! I don't know what's up but something seems to be.:confused:

Can you send an e-mail if you can't get them on the phone?
 
Crazyforgoofy - Wow! Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I'll try and e-mail. Problem is, they say on the website that they "act quickly on your order" so if you want to make changes you have to do it quickly. They suggest you call the 800# right away. Which is what I tried to do, but I just didn't have more than 1/2 hour to wait on hold... I guess good prices take their toll somewhere else.
 
I've ordered TONS of times from Kohls, and have never run into long delivery times. In fact, they've had some of the fastest delivery I've seen.

I would definitely keep trying to get Cust. Svc to find out if maybe the item is on backorder, or some other explanation of why the dates are so far out.

I order from Kohls quite a bit since we don't have one here. I have noticed that their delievery time, for us, is always longer than I think it should be. I usually order pants for DH. Last time I ordered two pairs, they charged my card about 4 days after I ordered them for one pair. I recieved the pants a week and 1/2 later so almost two weeks from orginal order. They never sent or charged the second pair, nor did I get an email stating the second pair was not available. :confused3

I hate ordering from there but do it because it's one of the only places DH can find pants that fit him!!!

I placed an order on 10/18 and it's showing my order as arriving between Nov. 2-9. Just checked my order, and it's showing "In Fulfillment."
 
I ordered from them recently & the order took about 2 weeks to get to me. I was disappointed, it was the slowest delivery I've had in a long time.
 
i'm always ordering from kohls.com (too lazy to drive to the store in paramus... :rolleyes1 ) - never takes more than a week to receive anything (provided it's in stock)
 
Until recently, things I ordered from Kohls always came in three or four days. My last order took about two weeks and it was just some clothes and underwear that were supposed to be in stock. I don't know if Kohls is starting to play Amazon's game and make you wait forever to get an order. That's why I stopped using Amazon.
 
Thanks everybody for the advice. After I read enough examples of longer delivery times, I decided it wasn't worth it. And, I called the nearest store to see if they would honor the same sale. They did! And, they had the luggage in stock. So, I (after 1/2 hour on hold) was able to cancel the first order, and I'll be picking up the luggage later tonight.

BTW - If anyone needs new luggage, its a pretty good deal. A set of American Tourister, 5 pieces (2 uprights, a garment bag, a rolling duffel and some smaller bag I'm sure I'll never use) for $76. Free shipping online if you can wait a few weeks!
 
I order weeky from Kohls.com (I can't turn down those 30% off coupons!) & it's never taken longer then a week - BUT - here's something I learned recently - you have to wait a few days before taking a web return back to the store! I had 3 sweaters to take back to the store that had been delivered the day prior. I couldn't return them because they hadn't shown up on my charge yet. Frustrating that I drove all the way there & came back with the same items. Now they've been sitting in a bag in my mudroom for weeks, watch it will be past the allowable return time when I do finally get back there!

No prob! They are actually having a luggage sale. A lot of good deals, even on some Samsonite stuff. And, I think shipping is free on anything over $75. But, like I said, make sure you have a few weeks, or just call a local store. Whatever you do, make sure you have some time if you want to call CS! :laughing:
