I went the other day and earned the $10 KC but she didn't hand it to me. I called and they said if I come in they will give me a new one. Does anyone know the dates it is good for?

If it's the ones you earned over Memorial weekend, they are good June 1-13.

Does anyone know what happens if you need to return an item - do they take away the Kohls bucks somehow? I bought two shirts that I loved, but they looked like they had "hangar shoulders," so I washed one and they still don't lay right.

They will take the bucks back if you return the item for a full refund. However if you choose to return the item for a merchandise credit, you can keep your bucks!

You may be thinking about the 15% off everything card that could be used in conjunction with the kohls cash. It is only good yesterday and today.

Not true, when I did that they did not honor my Kohl's cash, I made a big deal out of it and the manager did an override, but said it doesn't work that way at all.

I've had the same experience as the PP. When I took a store credit I got to keep my KC. They suggested it to me so that I didn't lose it.

They suggested it to me as well, and I used the store credit immediately for a purchase, which I showed the manager while I was firmly requesting that they honor the kohl's cash. That was when she did an over ride and told me not to believe that ever again.

When you do the return the amount of your Kohls cash is included on the merchandise credit. You don't get to keep your Kohl's cash coupon itself after the return. If you did, you were indeed given a bonus. That is not how it is supposed to work.

Think of Kohls Cash as a coupon. If you return an item that you used a coupon to buy you don't get the coupon back. Same thing here except if you take the return money as an in-store credit Kohls gives you the dollar amount of your coupon on that in-store credit.

It would be different if she had used KC on the first purchase. Then you would get the KC back as a credit too. (but maybe I'm misunderstanding.. )

You earn Kohls Cash for every $50 you spend. So if you make a return that doesn't take you under that $50 level, your Kohls Cash is not affected at all.

Take in store credit for your return and you get you keep your Kohls Cash.

The girl at the customer service offered me this as well. No deduction if a mdse. credit; reduced refund for Kohls cash if not. I think it is very nice that they offer this, because they do not have to.
