Well, I know 2 people who have a newer Kodak, one has the Z740 and the other has some Easy Share camera. They both suck! lol

I have the Panasonic Lumix LZ2 which is actually a very cheap camera but it takes beautiful pics. It does not take good pics indoors at a distance outside the flash or outdoor pics after dusk. There is alot of noise in them. Other than that, the pics are great and I would recommend this camera. So basically I know nothing about these 2 particular models but from experience with the other ones in the same line, I'd go with the Panasonic!

This is my favorite site for camera reviews! :

You are right it does horrible with indoor and nighttime photos, but for the $140 it cost we are pretty satisfied.

I have a Z740 and I don't think it sucks at all!!:rotfl2: The zoom is great!! I have taken so shots from a good distance away, and it looks like I was right next to it. It does eat batteries!! BAD!!!:confused3 That would have to be my biggest complaint! Here are a few with the Z740!

Good Luck!!

We're leaning more towards the Kodak because we've had good luck with them. I love the pictures that it has shown.
