This has it's own rechargeable battery, I gather.... how many pictures can you take before it needs charging? And can you buy a spare?

I don't *think* you can buy another one and install it yourself, it may be sealed in the case. Don't hold me to that though.

Ok, I called my sister and she said that the battery lasts a really long time. She took enough pics to fill 2gig card and still hasn't had to charge it. She said that you can buy spare batteries and a travel charger too. Hope that helps.
