Can someone fairly easily tell how much park costs go up when a child hits the 10 year old *adult* threshold? It affects both park tickets and meals (only on dining plan?), correct? Any affect on hotel prices on the resort?

You guys and your knowledge rock! :worship:

Thanks for the help!

it affects tickets (not much) and dining (much) and not resort. I use MouseSavers.com to get my park ticket / dining / resort prices quickly. Just note their prices usually DO include the tax (it will say).

As far as hotel rates, there is a charge per night for each extra adult after 2 adults in a room. $25 for deluxe, $15 for moderate, $10 for value. Fire code capacity rules also apply. For this rule, children are not counted as adults until age 18. In a room that holds 4 people, there can be a child under 3, plus 4 others. The baby can get a crib-type bed sent to the room for use.

Any buffet or family style dining also goes up (a lot) at the tender age of WDW adult, whether you are on the DDP or not.
