Know where my FAVORITE place in the world is, Mommy? I'm OUTTA HERE!!! Dude OUT!

Just reading about everything you did, makes me feel tired!

I bet I'm onw of the people in the mosh pit :cool2:

Not me. I am the DJ. :rotfl2:

Wow.....your trip is coming up fast.....:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I know!! I'm a little worried about the kids. they like to bolt off, and have not been listening well. I need to come up with an effective threat/punishment that doesn't involve leavign the park...

I'm still hoping for the VWBC (Very Well-Behaved children) phenomenon to kick back in.....

that is exciting and very jealous here.

Dude, you just got back, and have another confirmed trip. I am soooo jealous of YOU!

Dude. I AM tired. The kids are on half-day today, so I am trying to get things done before I have to go get them back off of the bus. Fortunately, it is a nice day out today (supposed to get up to the upper 50s!), and HHBG is going to try to come home early, so I don't have to haul them to the P/T conference. He'll probably take them to the park. :thumbsup2

Hmmm...bring a really ugly change of clothes along and threaten to make them change out of their cute special clothes into the ugly ones? :confused3
More realistically, when ds had his big fit in Epcot, I threatened to make him sit on a park bench while dh and I alternated doing stuff with dd.

If bolting is the issue, have you considered a harness/leash? Unfortunately, in order to be a realistic threat, you would actually have to bring them with you.

Amazingly enough, I didn't have any problems with ds bolting at WDW. My suspicion is that it was partly because I had talked so much about what to do if they lost us, and partly that there was *always* something interesting to look at. I think the hardest time I had keeping track of them was at play areas, but not any actual bolting while going places.

So. My Merrill shoes are not going to go to WDW. I wore them again, today, and they're still hurting my foot in that one spot. Not gud. One less thing to pack, too. :thumbsup2

Also, my cat clawed my thigh. :headache: Ouchie. Stupid cat.

May I recommend Crocs Capri flip flop style...they work for me and I do not like the other types!

I might look into these when my current flip flops need to be replaced. I am weird, though. I am probably the only person I know who cannot walk around all day in flip flops. It really hurts my feet and back. I like shoes with some support and a slightly pointed toe box. :confused3

I'm gonna end up like those old ladies who wear those orthopedic oxfords.... I know it....

I love my Crocs but not for the parks... for the swimming pool. :thumbsup2

My kids wear their cros tot he pool and beach, adn like running around in them, so I let them wear them to parks. I have some reef flip-flops I like for "wet times" I might get crocs to replace them when they wear out.
