Gah. I just cut EIGHT INCHES off of B's hair. it was supposed to be about four, and she moved.

Then she had the NERVE to whine about her friends at school making fun of her hair cut AFTER it was done, and she'd said she liked it when she's been whining about getting her hair cut for months.

I'm ticked. I pre-paid for teh BBB, and now her hair is only down to her chin.

Structure - ugh. I do better with things like making the consequences fit with the misbehavior. Ok, and we do have some routines that make life go smoother - they do better when they know expectations for behavior. There are times we prep them ahead of events with expected behavior, and potential consequences, and that seems to help.

Of course, they do tend to come up with stuff I never thought I'd have to mention...

I should've known better than to say anything. Now your kids are being angels, and I had to go pick up ds yesterday for hitting. He claims he was goaded into it - the boys told him that if he hit them, they wouldn't tell on him - and then they did. Grr.

I FINALLY got to sewing today. Made this for S...Ironically DS's intials are SDE. I should call him SD and confuse people.

ANYWAY!

This is what I made:

I made B an little dress with bloomers outfit, too, but it is not necessarily for Disney. I'm going to show it anyway, to show off.

SO, I got phone calls form BOTH the kids' teachers askign what happened this weekend, because they had perfect little angels in class today. Guess the threat worked....

Now, if only they would be better at home. They're playing nicely, at least.

Don't worry about BBB my 2 didn't have really long hair and it was fine as long as it can fit into a pony tail I think it's OK, actually I've seen girls with quite short hair and they've been fine!

Ok, so I could probably manage a sundress - pants are more challenging. I made a pair for ds' Hallowe'en costume when he was 1, and he ripped them before the night was out, due to lack of reinforcing...

As you can see, her hair is SHORT!

The dress was REALLY easy, and I have a pattern-free pants and shorts outfit I use that is also really easy....actually the dress was pattern free, too. I used to teach beginner's sewing classes, and I taught a few pattern-free outfits to help ease everyone's fear before moving on to patterns.

Thanks for the compliments! I have to give most of the credit to the fabric, though. I have rolls of pre-embroidered fabric, I just put it together.

I just had to buy a new computer, as my work computer is dying.

I was just at BBB on Saturday and a girl there had hair that short so I would not worry about it.
