what I used last year was over the counter: Native Tan 45+ which has both UVA and UVB protection in it. It worked pretty well for us, but costs A LOT compared to other brands. I am worried if I order it online it would get lost in the mail, but I don't know what our local stores will carry this year. :confused3

I have to start making my list, checking it twice, and find out how much more money I need to spend before we even get to the airport. :guilty:

Hay, at least the major things are paid for! and we have a stroller! That works! :rotfl:

Right? right!

I love the stroller. I did go on ebay and saw the one you got, I still would hate to spend that kind of money but I would rather do $60 on something that I own and can use for the other kids (or get at least some of my money back) than spend 90+ for someting that I will only see again in pictures. I did check out some Maclaren strollers at ToysRUs, they look really nice but the cheepest price was over $100.:scared1:

Thank you so much for letting DS try out the stroller. I am not worried about the weight. Because of the CF he struggles putting on weight ans is only about 53 lbs. My concern is he will be scrunched up and not comfortable the whole trip. He measured at 50" at his appt. yesterday

Well, skye is just under 44 inches. so my guess is he couldn't use the sun shade. If that isn't a deal breaker it still might work. Else, walker mobility has a 16 inch wheelchair for 60 bucks as well. which also doesn't have a sunshade. :confused3

and yeah, I figured I would much rather buy a 60 dollar stroller than rent for 90 bucks (cheapest I found for a stroller that would work.) because at least I can always resell, gift it to someone else, or something! and I am not worried about if it gets stolen (doubt it would happen since she will have stroller as wheelchair tag, but you never know...) having to pay full price, like 180-260 or something crazy for the thing.

Calculations are incorrect. We are doing a split stay and only have dining for three nights, for a total of 9 credits each. :thumbsup2 Also CRT is already paid for, and not during our dining plan days.

Tues, wed, thrus we stay in ASMu with the DxDP, friday and sat we stay at CBR without a dining plan. Our credits will expire at midnight on friday. 7/9 of the meals are TS and in this post: Cost of Dining Is where I go over the cost/beni of the dining plan.

I saw you say you were saving money on dining, but I must have missed that it was only for 3 nights. I admit when I saw all of the numbers, I got a little intimidated and did not fully read it. Now that I looked at it, I do see that you clearly mention more than once that it was for 3 days. Using 7 of 9 credits for TS is good. Except for LTT, I love your dining plans. My husband even likes LTT, so you may like it too. We love CBR. If you are booked in a regular room, you can ask to be placed in Trinidad North or Martinique. These are preferred rooms, but they will give them to you for the same cost of the regular room if they are not all booked. It makes the walk to Old Port Royale a lot easier.

I am thinking of buying a new stroller for my DS. We are taking a trip to DW for his 5th birthday, and I do not want to go without a stroller but the one we have now is too big. Let me know how it goed with the one you just bought at DW. It looks nice, and you got a really good price.

I have been trying to see how the sun shade attaches to the stroller.I want to figure out how I can raise it so it will still be usable by a taller child.Kid next door is 4 inches taller than your DD.

SOOOOOOO.... What Disney movie did you watch for your fortieth Day celebration???? popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

I'll take photos of how it attaches this morning, so long as I have time. Tonight at the latest. It pretty much slides onto a plastic slider. I am sure someone crafty could figure out a way to extend it higher, or even move it all together? :confused3

And the answer is:

Alice in Wonderland! However, it was misplaced by the ones who took in the mail, so we actually haven't watched it yet. :rolleyes1 Today we shall watch it (well, DD will.) while we drive to IL to visit both Corrine and Liam (I hope we still can do this today!), and our family as well! :woohoo:

Have a safe trip and enjoy listening to Alice in Wonderland if it isn't on headphones. I can recite entire episodes of Sponge Bob from my children's younger days; however, couldn't tell you what anything looked like. :lmao::lmao:

She can't handle headphones on her head, but yeah, my dad is like that... has heard multiple movies and shows, but never once seen them. :rotfl:

I tend not to let her watch it in the car until we watched it together in the house. cause it would bug me too much not to know how it looks. :confused3

Cool Thank you but no rush, since it is a plastic slider I can either get an adapter to extend it or just make one with modelling plastic.

Hey there! Joining in the fun. Just read through all the posts. I had so many comments along the way to post, I should have had this open in another screen too, so I wouldn't forget. Your plans look fun. Loved all the pics! You'll be here before you know it!

:welcome: Thanks for joining! I know what you mean about having comments along the way. If you remember them again, feel free to post them~!~

Seriously only 38 days left~!~ :scared1: :woohoo:

I am nervous about: Not having enough spending money, and forgetting to pack something super important. (like say, underwear. :confused3 )

Your meals for the first part are taken care of. If things get too tight, you can always order a kids meal for yourself at times. Most of them at counter service are $4.99 and include 2 sides and a drink. As long as you are not on the dining plan they will have no qualms about you purchasing it for yourself.

On my friend's last trip here, she forgot to pack her husbands pants. All he had were the ones he wore on the plane. Needless to say, they had to make a stop at Walmart, good thing they had a rental car!

That is why I make lists and check it off when I am packing. That way I will not forget anything. Otherwise I will have my camera but no charger or have to wear the same bra for a week (Yuck). I am also worried about money to spend on the trip, but hopefully I will be in the plus when all is done and said. Liam will have his own spending money, I will have $100 for two OOP meals, $40 for checked bags, and money for tips. I am than hoping to have about $150 for my soviners and any small things not covered by the DDP. Maybe I should make that $200.:confused3:lmao: I am no help am I?:rotfl2:

yeah, i don't know how much and of what we will want outside of our dxdp days. or what we may or may not end up wanting at the airports.... oh scratch that! I just remembered the orlando airport has a chili's inside it! :woohoo: I know what our last meal in FL will be!

I put aside what I need for BBB and dxdp tips, I just don't want to underjudge all the 'other stuff' at least 20 bucks for pony rides.... I know skye has about 85 bucks for herself saved up. I thought it was more than that, but I guess i was wrong. :confused3

Found you. I missed that you started a pretrip.
Your dd is adorable. I want to kiss those little chubby checks.
Love the stroller the colors are so cute. Mine are both just plain, one is sliver and one is pink. I also have another pink one, Orange one and a brown double. Yes I have a stroller addiction. I also have a triple. :rotfl:

:welcome: I didn't really say anything about it anywhere so easy to miss it.

Those baby cheeks were so kissable! :cloud9:

and yay for stroller addiction!

My mom still thinks i am weird for wanting a certain stroller for DD when she was first born. It was the best travel system i've seen, decently priced, and if I had not given it away to someone else with a younger child, that stroller STILL would be usable for DD.

I forgot socks & DS's pjs first year we took him! Luckily we drive & we were already off property. We just hit up walmart!
