Know what would be cool? If we could live at Disney! - PTR - !PHOTO HEAVY! COMPLETE!

On my friend's last trip here, she forgot to pack her husbands pants. All he had were the ones he wore on the plane. Needless to say, they had to make a stop at Walmart, good thing they had a rental car!

I forgot socks & DS's pjs first year we took him! Luckily we drive & we were already off property. We just hit up walmart!

See, that is why I am worried. I have no rental, and no money for one, or even for delivery of something. I'd just have to wear the same pair every day. :scared1: Or something. Still I didn't forget anything last year, so should be fine this... just am a natural worrier. :teacher:

Easier said than done, but don't worry! As mentioned earlier, make a packing list and check it off once it's packed, and you should be fine!

A good check list. Also know we will likely still be down here when you get here.So DH can drive you to a store, if you need something.

Awesome that you'll be there the same time, and great of you to offer!

Love your Easter greeting! I hope you can teach me how to do that like you showed me how to do the glitter text!

Happy Easter everyone!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate it! I'll not really be on until tomorrow.
   He is Risen!

Thanks to all for the Easter greetings!

So, lets see. We watched Alice in wonderland, and netflix did an opps and sent us a second copy of it. So now we have two to go out in the mail in the morning. :lmao: I guess they *really* wanted us to watch Alice!?

I'm running low on idea's for Disney movies to watch, believe it or not. I really wanted to make sure she had an idea of the major characters we will be seeing. She watches Disney Jr. and the Mickey Mouse Club house, so knows the fab 5. She knows Oso, and handy manny, I'm not sure if she knows june or leo from little einsteins very well. She has seen the show a few times, just not as much as the others... She knows tinkerbell and friends...

Sleeping beuty has been watched, Alice in wonderland, Snow White, Beuty and the Beast.

I think we are going to try to re-watch cinderella, and I am still debating Lilo and Stitch. She saw them at Disney on Ice and likes both Lilo and Stitch but with her fear of 'monsters' (which include aliens such as pinkley.) I am not sure if this would be okay for her to watch or not. :confused3

Anyone have any other suggestions that I may have missed? :confused3

Seen toy story 1, didn't care for it much (she still is a bit leery of Buzz Lightyear.)

I am obsessing over the mail. A lot of those going around the same time have received their 'mickey mail' so I am just wondering if mine went to Seattle again. See, once one of my packages with tracking arrived at a post office a few hours south of me (same state.) and then went all the way to Seattle Washington... before going BACK to the same post office a few hours south of me, before coming to my house. So I always wonder when mail takes forever if they sent it to Seattle again.

I'll upload Easter photo's of DD soon, just have felt real blah of late. allergies are kicking her behind and giving me headaches. Time to up the allergy med dose for me, and give DD more love  . Can't wait until she is old enough to take seasonal allergy meds during these rough times.

Here are just a few movie suggestions. I know certain things scare her, but since I am unsure of them all please forgive any suggestions that contain these things.;)

Princess movies: The Little Mermaid, The Princess and the Frog (couple of scary parts with the evil spirits but can be fast fowarded), Tangled, and Enchanted (some cartoon, alot live but one of Mia's favorites). There is also Cinderella 2 and 3, Plus The Little Mermaid also has a 2 and 3 also.

Other Disney: Peter Pan, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Several other Pooh related movies, Cars, Finding Nemo, Wall E, Meet the Robinsons, and The Lion King. And don't forget live action movies such as Marry Poppins, Herbie the Love Bug movies, and Pirates of the Carribean.

There is just a few, Hope it helps. I have the complete list of Disney Movies if you want me to email them to you.:thumbsup2

Princess movies: The Little Mermaid, Seen The Princess and the Frog (couple of scary parts with the evil spirits but can be fast fowarded) seen also, and agree the spirit scenes are a bit much., Tangled Seen twice and LOVE IT, and Enchanted (some cartoon, alot live but one of Mia's favorites). Will have to look into. she drifts away from most live action stuff. :confused3 There is also Cinderella 2 and 3, Plus The Little Mermaid also has a 2 and 3 also. didn't even think about 2's... those would be good!

Other Disney: Peter Pan, seen many times. :thumbsup2 The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh d'oh! adding to the list. esp. with CP planned!, Several other Pooh related movies, Cars, she isn't into this one, although i've tried to get her to watch it with me. :confused3 Finding Nemo Seen!, Wall ERobots.... although *I* think she would like it, but she says no robots., Meet the Robinsonsi forgot what this one is about, will have to check into it! , and The Lion King. oooo lion king, i loved this movie! (will have to FF through the wake up dad scene though.) And don't forget live action movies such as Marry Poppins, Herbie the Love Bug movies, and Pirates of the Carribean. i've tried mary poppins, but she drifts off within mins of most live action movies. :confused3 and pirates is too intense for her. i will ask her about herbie though!

There is just a few, Hope it helps. I have the complete list of Disney Movies if you want me to email them to you.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the great ideas! that must be one long list! :rotfl:

Sorry about the allergies... mine have started to get bad too. Just that time of year, I guess :( As far as movie suggestions, how about Mulan? I also enjoyed the Jungle Book when I was young, though I doubt any of those characters would be out and about any more.

I sure hope you feel better soon! Our sping is over here, and it's summer-like so finally all the blooming isn't bothering Anakin anymore. He is allergic to oak pollen and we have huge live oaks. If your daughter is also having allergy trouble, talk to her pediatrician, they would know the appropriate dose for a child her weight.

Guess you were meant to watch Alice, lol!

Does your daughter like Disney's sing-along-songs? If so, there is Disneyland Fun sing-along that shows the magic kingdom (at Disneyland), but the attractions they show are mostly the same as what's here in Florida. There is also a Disney sing-along songs taped at AK, another at FW, and one at the water parks and Poly. Here's a link to the Disneyland Fun, and on the side or bottom of the screen it showed some of the others. http://disneydvd.disney.go.com/sing-along-songs-disneyland-fun.html

Don't worry about the mail. I'm sure it will come, and hopefully not to Seattle again! I remember someone in our March facebook group was one of the last to receive theirs, but it came before their trip!

Pediatrician says nothing is approved for her age. she has to be 7 before they could prescribe anything outside of Vitamin D, which helps some people.

Yeah, I guess so! :rotfl:

Oh my TINK! THIS IS GREAT! I never even though about checking out disney sing alongs! Now I just had to up us from 1 disc at a time to two discs at a time! :lmao: The water park one is going to be great, so she can see where we are going before we go~!~ (Not nearly enough BB and TL vids on youtube. I can understand why, just wish there was more. esp of the younger crowd's areas.)

I know all I had to do was ask and yall could come up with ones I was forgetting about! :worship:

Oh, oh, I thought of some more (I think you may have created a monster).

There is also Pochohantas which has a sequel. Jungle Book also has a sequel. Don't forget Arristocats and Brother Bear(which also has a sequel). I forgot to tell you that Peter Pan also has a sequel and Lion King has two.

Goodness I know alot of Disney Movies, and there are still so much more.:thumbsup2

What about Zyrtec? My DD has been on Zyrtec since she was around 5ish, and DS has been on it since he was 3. My box of chewables says "not recommended for children under 2". DD was on Zyrtec before it went OTC (along with Singulair) and it really helped. Her pediatrician has also had her on liquid Benedryl for years (well below the manufactured dosage age).

Since I don't know your full situation, I'm just going on the above statement. ;)

Zyrtec comes in liquid, chewable, and tablet form - and DS5 is on 5mg while DD9 is on 10mg. It is also available via generic forms (I've purchased generic at Target). I apologize if this has been mentioned and I've missed it. Just wanting to offer as much information as possible in hopes that it may be useful.

Hope she feels better and can get some relief!

Oh, oh, I thought of some more (I think you may have created a monster).

*I* created one? Nope, not me...Never me... Unless your talking about DD. :lmao:

Yeah, so many movies, not enough time~!~

I will bring this one up directly with her Ped. at her appt on may 2ed. It would be such a relief if she wasn't dealing with this issue. She misses SO much school simply because she is too miserable to go.

Although mine has much more info than DD's I also have one for her, with the same details. (although she is not on any meds)
I carry these in my backpack at all times we are traveling. And will add different notes depending on what is different, like if we are also traveling with grandma I will note it, also will sometimes add our resort info if I feel it may be needed. I also let others I am traveling with know I have these sheets in my bag in case of emergency. Even DD knows that if a doctor is needed to tell them about the papers in my bag.

I know we most likely will never need to have these sheets, but the come in handy, even at home! The nurses at my local doctor love me  when I can just read right off my sheet and have all dosages listed. I also keep the meds and allergies alphabetized as it is quicker for them to enter them into the system that way. :confused3

Okay, so I did a post about the dining, now I figure to go ahead and decide on the rest of the budget.

Tips from dining already planned will be appx. 60 dollars. (rounded up, at 18% even for buffets which will not happen.)

I also need appx 60 dollars for the BBB planned. (also rounded up.)

So that is 120 bucks cash for what is already arranged for.

We also want to do pony rides, at 5 bucks a ride, we had 3 rides last year so lets budget 20 bucks here.

140.

We would like to eat outside of our dxdp days, and at airport on leaving day.

So, I have zero idea what it will cost us dining wise outside of our DxDP. I know A and L will most likely cover Kobe's. So that leaves breakfast at airport, dole whip and supper, and breakfast and airport. to plan for.

Guessing about 15 bucks for airport breakfast? (Midway has a mcdonalds in there.), dole whips what, 5 bucks? (so 20 so far), supper... lets say 20 bucks (hopefully not, but rather guess over than under!) (40).... then breakfast, 15? (55) then I know our late lunch at airport is going to be at chili's too. That will run us about 25-30 bucks. (Or so I think I remember)

So, guessing about 90 for meals... lets just round that out to 100 bucks.

240.

Now for the extras. I would love to do design a T. I think it is 30 bucks a shirt. so for me and DD it would be 60 bucks. :scared1:

300

Plus laundry, I think will only be a single load, but bringing enough for two just in case

308.

okay, I am ready to call it. I'll bring my ears from last year and I'll be happy. DD has about 85 dollars of her own for spending, so she can get new ears if she wants, candy, toys etc. whatever she wants that is within her budget.

Lets hope I get some Birthday money in pre-trip! Would love to just have extra just in case. you know?

Oh, and next post will be some more pictures of my cutie!
