Okay, so I am sick and not feeling well and can't sleep due to the coughing. So, may as well show off some more photos!
DD through the years!
This is Me and DD the day she was born! Story of her birth day: my blood pressure was starting to creep so they had us come in for a non-stress test.

non-stress? HAH! and it is doubly funny because me and DP were joking how fitting it would be if DD was born that day, as my mother's bday is 7/7, mine is 6/6 and that day was 3/3. Anyway, they didn't like how little she was moving, so they admitted me and ordered a ultrasound panel. The whole time the tech was saying, 'that is a big baby! oh my, this is a big baby! let me just see... *uses the machine to measure the belly length* oh my goodness that is a BIG baby!'
Get done with that, within 20 min the doctor was in the room saying that my kid was due in 45 min. How is THAT for non-stress?

Ended up in a panic attack so bad the doctor had to run back into the room and tell me that they were going to use general rather than local... Waiting until they were ready to cut before putting me out. The BP that I last remember seeing before so panicked as to not have memory was 178/109... and it was still climbing. So yes, missed the first hour of my baby's life, but better than having a heart attack and missing her whole life.
oh, and for the record my mini-me was born at 10lbs 1oz and 20 inches long.
My little Buddah baby drank down 1.5oz bottle min's after her birth! She was drinking down 3oz at a time before we left the hospital! (3 days old)
This is her at about a month old:
Outside of being extremely gassy (Doctor said she had 5x the normal amount in her system.), and having a sinus infection (at 16 days OLD!

and a second one at month and half, along with the flu.), She was a very happy and smiley and 'talkative' girl. (would coo/makes sounds at you all day.)
She graduated to food (plus formula still) at 3 months (per doctors approval, My girl was an EATER!)
Of course at 2 months is when we had our worse 'medical scare'. She ended up with a fairly high fever and we ended up taking her to the ER.. were they ended up flight for life-ing her to another hospital that had a PICU. They were worried about meningitis. Spinal tap and blood draws and a day or two later and they said it is just a really really bad viral infection.

One really good thing about this is that the gas thing and the chronic tossing up thing was solved.. yay for meds for GERD (she out grew it.)
6 months old:
according to my mother DD was saying gampa at 3 and a half months, hun-gee by 5 months. and stringing the two together by 6 months. I remember her saying hung-ee really really early. although her offical first word was HI! I remember her standing in her crib yelling Hi! Hi! over and over like 'hello come get me now! hello, hello anyone out there!?!?'
These things aside, she really didn't talk. She was fairly quiet, would squeal and make noise, but not really talking, or 'true' babbling. No playing with sounds like ma ma ma or da da da.. just squeals. The first time I can think of real talking from her is 3 years old.

but I have horrible memory and not enough video of her. Gross motor wise she was crawling by 7 months, after 2 months of wiggling and rolling around, and walking by one year.
First real road trip: (11 months)
yes she is not rear-facing.

She was too heavy for ANY rear facing seat, everyone (doctors, police, anyone we talked to) agreed it was safer for her to be forward facing at this point than to use a seat that isn't made for her weight. (I can't remember it, but trust me it wasn't a mere 1lb or two.)
In hind sight, I have to wonder how many other 1 year olds wipe their own mouth after every bite... early signs of SPD?
Oh, and for those vampire fans out there:
Okay, next posting will be only one or two per year of age I swear!
