If you are in California for a limited time, would you take your 2 1/2 year old to Camp Snoopy at Knott's? If the 2 year old fits the height requirements are they fine going on those rides on their own?

We will have 3 days in the L.A. area unaccounted for. Thinking of staying near Pasadena and hitting the botanical garden and kids museum, and possibly the L.A. zoo. We are doing Disney the following week. We could do Knott's a day or just skip it.

He does seem to like snoopy-but with Disney, I don't know if it is overkill.

ETA: And I'll be by myself, husband is working.

I would spend a day at Knott's. It is very laid back compared to Disney. There are other things to do besides camp Snoopy. The stagecoach and the train are my favorites - great for all ages.

It will not be as stimulating at Disney, but I think it is worth doing if you are looking for something to do for a day.

It is definitely not comparable to Disneyland, but my kids LOVED it. There are characters out to take pics with and my kids loved Camp Snoopy and there are a few rides that kids and adults can go on together. My kids had never seen or heard of Snoopy before but they loved seeing the shows and my youngest DD seriously loved every time she saw one of the characters. She got pictures with Snoopy like 4 times because she was so excited. And the lines for rides and characters are nothing compared to DL.
