Can you do Knotts in 1 day and get on most of the rollercoasters and water rides? Do you need 2 days? We will be there on Tuesday July 12. we were planning on 5 days at disneyland and 1 at Knotts but do i need 2 days for Knotts? Also are there certain rides you should do first? At Disneyland i know Space/Splash are the most popular, is it the same at Knotts?

Thank you Cheryl

Knotts can easily be done in one day, provided it's a weekday. As for the order to do rides, get a map, and make a plan to go through the park in order, without spending time running back and forth across the park. However, you can't miss the Mystery Lodge. It only plays a few times a day, so plan accordingly.

oh yeah knotts can be done in one day. no doubt about that!

It's not as large as disneyland is or magic mountain.. but yeah for the OP you have no worries, everything can be done in one day . just remember to pace yourself!
:fish:

the really popular rides at knotts would be "ghost Rider" and "boomerang" and "silver bullet",during the summer would be the water rides...so it's best that maybe those rides are done first when you get to the park! knotts does not have a Fast Pass system either.

Also, pay close attention to what time the various rides open. I headed straight across the park only to find out that half of the park didn't open until an hour or two later (didn't read my map well enough). I think we easily did all the roller coasters while my parents took my little ones to Camp Snoopy (they rode all those rides so much, they got bored with them). Then we regrouped and rode the log ride multiple times - it was my 3-year-olds favorite. She could ride that, but is still too short for Splash Mountain. BTW, food at Knott's makes DL look like a bargain - like $16 for a counter-service hamburger meal, seriously. Food was a big issue for us; I had researched some and figured out where we wanted to eat, only to find all those restaurants closed. This was one place I wished I had brought in more snacks for the kids, cause all us adults ended up starving our way through the day...

Very good to know. Especially for planners like us! lol I wonder if there's a way to get a map with detailed times prior to arrival. I would like to know exactly what's open when so we can make the most of our one day there in April.
