Anyone going to Knoebels this year?

If so, what are you doing to may save some money?

Going end of July and looking for some new suggestions...

We went on opening day and it was great. We shared a few meals to help save some money.

Maybe we need to have a DIS meet there.

You can bring your own food. Your are allowed to bring coolers, etc. There is no "gate". Attendants just look for wrist-bands. It's been one of our places to take our son. Alot of kids rides.

We are going at the end of June. If you go after 5 there is a discount rate. Also if you go on Wed or Friday after 5 it is only 8.50, but the coasters are extra.

We went on opening day too! 2 for one POP bracelets! The 6 of us all got in on the discounted rate for the day plus getting 3 for free!

That will be a yearly tradition from now on. yes it was crowded but we still got to ride tons!

Also under regular times we buy tickets in BULK. They never expire and they give a decent discount. So we still have tickets from last years big buy so this year we're going to go for free some point this summer. Preferably not on company picnic day-

I will be camping there for our weekly vacation. This year, it will just be my daughter & I so anything I can save on will help me.

Thanks for the suggestions. We do go on bargain nights and I have a $20 ticket book left over from last year. Might just bring more food to cook on camp fire or share food while at parks.

No, but I wish! After watching an amusement park food special I want to go there SO bad for their waffle ice cream sandwiches :lovestruc

I find Knoebles to be a bargain. We go for 2 days and pull out all the stops. The kids are allowed pretty much anything they want. :thumbsup2

They are delicious! I ate more than my fair share of them while I worked there :rolleyes1 (thankfully I was young then and everything didn't go straight to my hips!).

T. Lynn, do you know anyone who has there company picnic there? When the company my brother works for has their annual picnic at Knoebels, they can buy tickets at half price. I usually give him money to get some for us for the next summer.

You can get a $5.00 book of tickets from AAA for $4.25

It would probably be cheaper to get the hand stamp.
