Kmart Coupon $5 OFF Toy $5 or more

I am LOVING this coupon! I have used 7 so far. They closed most of the Kmarts here a few years ago, even the new Super-Kmarts they had just built - I think there are 3 left in the state. The one near me is old, tiny, yuk! But for this, I'll go there.

I have been getting the Furreal Furry Frenzies (Furreal version of Zhu Zhus, but much cuter I think). They are usually $8.99, so I am getting them for $3.99. And even though I swore I wasn't going to get any more little junk, I have been picking up Zoobles that are usually $5.99 for $.99.

They also have an additional 50% off all clearance toys this week. You can't use the coupon on these, but I found some little stocking stuffers.

Thanks, OP for posting. I printed one for each of my 2 daughters to use on a recent shopping trip, but, really, am I the only one that thinks some people are abusing the system here? This a birthday coupon--something that comes around once a year.

I counted to see how many I have used since I got the coupon from this thread and I am up to 10 so far.

I've bought all but one of my nieces and nephews their Christmas presents (We spend $10 each and have 10 nieces and 3 nephews.) Going to use some more tomorrow.

I have used 7 so far.

Well, the coupon does not say "one per customer" anywhere, only one per transaction. So we are abiding by Kmart's terms. They set the terms....not us.

I totally agree with you SalandJeff ; and it doesn't carry any further stipulations than what you stated or require any additional proof (of birthday, etc.). I've got lots of neices & nephews & since reading this post have done 8 different transactions & didn't feel like I abused any system, corporate or otherwise, just like when I sometimes buy multiple Sunday newspapers to get additional coupons to use. If you're still playing coupon cop Vacation Lover feel free to add me to the list of posters you have quoted in your post for shopping with this coupon multiple times Kmart's good with it & so am I.

Thank You Thank You!! I have been trying to avoid buying my DD4 the little 3.5 inch (or is it 4.5 inch?) tinkerbell and friends dolls. They were $8.35 at KMart, so I got them for $3.35 each, how could I resist!! She will love them, and my excuse is they are little, I can put them in her stocking lol.

It also makes it easier to tell my sister what to get her for Christmas - there is a cute balloon playset that comes with Terrance the same size as the figures I bought. She loves him, so this will be a great Christmas for her!

I agree with almost everyone - it only says one per transaction. My cashier today actually tried to combine my 2 transactions to make it easier, she didn't care that I had 2 coupons. They won't go through when combined though, so she had to split my order back up.

I tried to use one at the Kmart near my house and they have signs at all the registers that state that they will not take this coupon. I was very disappointed and realized again that there are reasons that I do not shop at Kmart. I am glad that others are having good luck though.

I did use one of these yesterday, and I'm not flaming anyone who is using these, but I just looked up Kmart b-day club online and it is something you sign up for and get coupons including $5 in b-day bucks. So, it sounds like someone on that coupon website posted their coupon from signing up. It does say in the fine print not valid .....if reproduced. I guess that's why the cashier is not able to scan the coupon and has to put it in manually. My guess is that they will make this invalid pretty soon.
So, I want to use some more so tell me why it's OK!

The word Sikked sounds like Psyched. But, the kids use sick as meaning something good. If you give them something that they like they say "oh, that's sick". Then you know that you've pleased them!

I used the coupon today on a clearance item. He didn't say anything at all. I didn't know that you weren't suppose to use it on a clearance item.

I used one today and got DS the Lego Pirate Code game he's been saving up for, for $15 instead of $20!

AND...while I was there I decided to take a quick peek at the Clearance toys. We are giving DD the Tag Jr. for her second birthday on Sunday. They had two of the books I wanted to get her (normally $10-$11) for $4.50 each! WOOT!

So that's $42 worth of toys for under $25!

I bought 5 Zoobles for $1.06 each after tax. I saved $26.75. There's a few more toys that I plan to get (like a Scooby Doo board game for my daughter and some cheap tpys for Toys for Tots).

I think the *bad* thing about this coupon is that I'll go in with my son after we have traveled an hour to get to a kmart. He'll have in his head what he wants and the $ he has and the coupon and we won't be able to use the coupon. No way will kmart keep accepting it. Like a previous poster said, it looks like it was for a birthday club. So end result will be me irritated for driving that far and then them deciding not to accept it after I have read about it being accepted all over the place. He'll be upset that he won't be able to get what he wants because it will be more $ then he thought and Kmart will lose out with my never going back.

It has been a LONG time since I have been to one though, but mainly because of convenience or lack there of. I happen to have a gift card from the my coke rewards so that makes this coupon appealing me to me to combine them all.

I used the coupon tonight, thank you to o/p, 4 of them actually and combined it with the Hot Wheels sale they had on the 10 packs. Normally 10.99 they are on sale this week for 5.99 so I bought 2 packs and then one set of 5 cars that is special edition or something for 5.00. I also bought a Nerf style gun for 6.08.

All together was 33.06 and I paid cash 3.47!!

I had problems at my Kmart with the coupon. It wouldnt scan and when she put the bar code numbers in that didnt work either. She had to call the customer service guy over and he went back and forth to his desk and they finally got it to work by doing something else. Not worth it to me. I have one more but wont be using it.
