Page 5 of this week's Kmart ad has all of the Trim-A-Home light sets for 50% off for today only. The ones my DH likes are $8.99 a box, so they are $4.49 a box on sale today.
Well, Kmart also has a deal where you can bring in up for 5 sets of old Christmas lights (don't even have to be working ones) and get a coupon for $4.00 off each new light set you buy, up to 5 boxes. At our store, there was not a limit on how many old light sets could be brought in.
So, by combining the coupons with the 50% discount, my DH went through the line 4 times, bought his 5 sets each time, and spent about $10.00 + tax TOTAL for 20 new boxes of Christmas lights.
If you need new Christmas lights, today is the day to get them!!! (However, YMMV on whether your particular Kmart will let you stack the discounts. There is nothing on the coupon that says that they can't be used with other promotions, so you shouldn't have any problems.)
