Kmart $10 off $30 merchandise

I received this coupon on my receipt. What do the consider merchandise? Is food considered merchandise? Just curious because it states at bottom that it is not valid on non-merchandise. So- it made me wonder what was excluded. Any help would be appreciated.

I think some larger kmarts have services as well as merchandise.

Like photo studios.

Possibly a small food area.

I believe that gift cards are considered non-merchandise.

Some retailers, not necessarily K-mart, do not consider Fine Jewelry (sterling silver, etc.) to be a coupon item. But then it's been so long since I've been in a K-mart I'm not sure if they still have a jewelry counter. I'd ask before using the coupon.

I would Samuel (you know where that gets you!) that auto services & pharmacy items are excluded, as well as photo services nd lottery. Just my guess.....
