I absolutely LOVE your countdown calendar!!! Can I steal a copy?

I am so excited about YOUR trip... I feel like I am on countdown too, can I come please?

Thanks so much! I made it in Microsoft word and downloaded the fonts from the net. I just typed Disney fonts into Google! And the same for the images!
It takes a bit of time but lets be honest its fun Some of the fonts don't have numbers so I would just use the numbers from the Disney font. Some of the fonts I used off the top of my head are Waltography, Orange Grove, Buka Bird, Princess and the Frog font. And thats where I forget the rest! Theres also a Phantom Manor font but cannot remember the name

Today we were greeted by Lumiere and Cogsworth to remind us to discuss dinners and what we want to eat!



Thats up for discussion this evening as we were rushing out the door this morning! Today is a planning day so I'm trying to tie up some loose ends and also get organised for my hubbies 30th next weekend

Absolutely love your countdown calendar, has inspired me to do one for us but not sure I will get to it as we are going 2 weeks after Christmas so might be a bit busy but fingers crossed! I bet it makes it even more magical for the kiddies though getting to enjoy the build up with you xxx

It was super easy.. I just punched holes in them and made loops with a cable tie in each hole and I tied different (Mickey) coloured ribbon on the loops to hide the cable ties!
I can hang it on the wall... well I could have but its propped against our kitchen dresser! Laziness wins again
The kids get so much out of it! I was surprised how much it matters to them and they enjoy all the little suggestions and feel like they are a realy important part of the planning

Kachow! McQueen is on todays countdown!
Yesterday was productive. I washed the kids car seat covers, bought new gloves and a hat for Jimmy, downloaded songs for our CDs, bought a dress for hubbies 30th and made restaurant reservations for La Cantina, Inventions and TGI Fridays for the 1st travel day.

I'm unsure about Inventions and may just change to Kind Ludwigs as we had a great meal here on our honeymoon. Agh too many options

We had a little mouse-lady remind us to pack (yeah like I haven't it almost done ) today.
So this evening before bed we will pack the last few bits in both kids suitcases. Its most just socks really but I want it out of the way anyway so todays countdown is very fitting



So whats everyones plans for the weekend? We are so relaxed this weekend we are almost comatose! I just have to cook and laze about, its nice to have a weekend with no plans or rushing. We'll watch Peter Pan with popcorn before bed tonight and myself and hubs are staying in to watch XFactor. Hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying the lovely weather!

Ariel encouraged us to make good use of our feet and to choose what rides we do 1st and its been discussed and BTM won by a mile. DD wants to buy a BTM pin after riding and because shes being so brave and I reckon we'll ride PM and then into Fantasyland or perhaps across to Buzz to defeat Zurg

Quiet day here for us, I have a big stew on the hob and we're settling down to watch and Irish language programme tonight as it was filmed in our local, its about local Irish traditional music and is set in a different pub each week. Our local is one of those rare old general shops/pubs that still keeps its tradition and sells everything like sliced meats, fishing tackle, nails, brooms and pints! May even catch a glimpse of my hubby and his Dad as they were there a couple of nights the filming was on. Hope everyones having a great Sunday.

Which reminds me, since I'm not going to be able to post todays countdown day til tomorrow - a big HUGE thanks to Rachael (ILOVEDLP) for posting us a fab music from the park CD. Its in the car ready for the school run xxx

Apologies for the bumper post! Busy this week!! On the upside it is my hubbys 30th Saturday, very excited! and I've gotten all the food supplies finally! And the kids had a half day today plus I've made loads of new bows for my sister to sell this weekend at a market. My eyes are crossing from all the intricate work and glueing!

So this is the 1st day I missed:



We did a quick ibble obble and Jemma is windowside on the way to Paris and James on the way back - me - I'll just be eating nails and sedatives! Actually I'm not so nervous about flying this time yay!

Then we had this cute trio reminding us to pack our coats - as if it isn't ingrained in us being in Ireland! Our rainy season is August - June



And finally, this handsome guy!



I'm a little early but another hectic day ahead tomorrow and its is officially countdown day 12 anyhow!
Have to see my Mam, take pics of all the new bows, post them to Facebook, shave my legs before I get carted off for being the missing link and I have to make more bows!!
Hope its a less mental Wednesday for everyone else!

I'm hoping to do a big update Sunday or Monday. I'm not neglecting my PTR just super busy! Had a great night out in a lovely Italian restaurant for dh's birthday and am in the middle of a food coma! Hope everyone has a great weekend xx

We had new luggage tags on Thursday! These guys are mimicked in our house alot!



And Friday saw Alice pass on strange advice but then nothing with Alice is straightforward! We do have to visit Nanny Qs and see what magnets shes gotten so we don't overlap - shes a bit of a hoarder and has two fridges almost covered. Impressive.



We puckered up on Saturday



And Daddy survived! He had a great birthday weekend and is finally recovered today! x

Sunday was a day for sore heads, duvets and snuggling down to watch UP!



And Monday saw us side down and discuss how we are all going to compromise, share and stay patient! I'm a control freak, Jemma is bossy and James isn't keen on rules or listening - you can see why this was a topic!



Today we were warned to keep eyes out for snappy crocs!
