We are currently using the special kitty scoopable, but, it doesn't seem to do well with the odor issue! What kind of kitty litter do you use? Do you love it?

What I've found it that you really should spend a little bit more and get the good litter, it is worth it. I usually use Fresh Step. I'm not sure exactly which kind of this brand, but it works and smells like waffles :confused3

:lmao: Really?

The special kitty worked till I got my princess Jasmine, it seems to have issues with the second user lol

I use Tidy Cat scoopable. The blue label for multiple cats. We have 2 young boy kitties right now. It seems to be doing its job, except one kitty can sure stink up a bathroom. I don't know what he eats. lol

We used it for previous female kitty too.

I've tried them all........the one I'm liking at the moment is 'Yesterday's News' (made from recycled news papers) it's cheap enough to change twice a week, and you only scoop the poop.
Changing the whole box really helps with the odor issues.
I have two kitties.....:goodvibes

I think my MIL gave me a coupon for this, do they have it at your Wal*Mart?

My kitties are like that too! I know what the food that comes out of the bag smells like! I don't know how they make the smelly smells they do!

I get mine at the Commissary, and Target (when it's in stock)

I use the Feline Pine pellets. If you scoop out the solid waste asap, it doesn't smell at all. Well, it smells like pine. :)

I also use Yesterday's News. It controls odors well and it doesn't have all the perfumes that litters like Fresh Step has.

I use clumping Feline Pine and love it. I also use Wonderbox liners (which lengthen the life of the litter while keeping the smell under control) and occasionally sprinkle in SmartyKat's No Offense odor neutralizer. I live in a one bedroom apartment and cannot stand cat smells. The combination of stuff I use works great!

Fresh Step Multiple Cat in both litter boxes (1 upstairs; 1 downstairs) for my 2 furry fiends. We scoop twice daily. I scoop in the morning and DH scoops at night. They're big cats. Not fat, just big.

Scotty, my orange tabby, and I are allergic to the feline pine litter. I've tried several other litters, but Scotty's been allergic to all of the others I've tried.

I haven't tried the yesterday's news yet. Thanks for the info - I'll see if I can find it in my area.

We use Febreeze room deodorizer spray to get rid of that "freshly used" litter box smell. Sulu, my black tabby, can leave hazmat level noxious odors in the air after he's through. Peeyew! "Dude, what did you eat?" :headache:

We use Fresh Step Multiple Cat. I have used other kinds of fresh step and it doesn't compare. We have 2 cats.

I can't say enough good things about Yesterday's News. I came across this accidentally and it is the best! It really does control the odor, which is a HUGE issue with me and pets, and being that it is environmentally safe makes me all the happier.

I use Fresh Step multiple cats and it works pretty well. I just hate how much they track out of it though. I did try Worlds Greatest Kitty Litter and that worked pretty good too. Less tracking which was nice, but it's more expensive. I tried it when it was on sale. Must be popular though because it's always sold out at the store.
I may have to try Yesterdays News. Thankfully my kitties don't mind me switching around brands.

World's Best Extra Strength

I love it, I have one huge cat that has huge pees and it clumps like a rock and doesn't stick to the box.

It is pricey but I rarely have to change out the whole box. It can only be found at pet stores.

I usually use the Costco litter - not sure what the brand is... it's in a big green jug. But I did buy some of that Worlds Best that I have not tried yet (just bought it 2 days ago). I am interested to see how that works...

My dad uses Arm & Hammer cat litter. He says it works great and odor absorbs well.

I use tidy cats, but I also change the litter every couple of weeks or so. When I empty the litter out of the pan I pour a layer of baking soda at the bottom, add litter, and poor more baking soda at the top. Its also a covered litter box with a carbon insert at the top. I cannot smell any stinky substances, even when I've been out of my house for several hours and come back inside (I would notice this sometimes before I started using the baking soda)
