Would the "Kitchen Sink" sundae at Beaches and Cream be a nice birthday surprise for kids? Is it worth the money? Thanks

It depends on how many you want to feed.

"Kitchen Sink - scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee and mint chocolate chip, smothered in every topping we have $21.99"

It's 8 - 10 scoops of ice cream, a can of whipped cream, brownies, jimmies, candy bars, oreo cookies, a handful of cherries, hot fudge, etc.

Good luck!!

Can you substitute on kitchen sink? all vanilla and choc no fruits?

I've never ordered the Kitchen Sink- I've only seen it delivered.

It can't hurt to ask about substitutions though..........

Personally, I LOVE the "Earthquake" served at Ghiradelli in DTD! The same type of thing....multiple scoops of ice-cream and tons of toppings, whipped cream and nuts -- you pick all the ice-cream and toppings! I think the price is around $19.

Just another option!
TTFN!

We have tried to tackle the kitchen sink before. To be honest; it wasn't the best thing I've ever had...too many different things and flavors all melting together...there was 4 of us(2 adults, 2 11 yr old girls) and we really didnt put much of a dent in the thing...although it was a fun experience and I would say to give it a try once...the looks on the kids faces were priceless...personally, I liked the "mudslide" dessert better...vanilla ice cream, brownies, nuts, hot chocolate syrup and whipped cream...yummy and easily big enough for 2-3 people to share(about $8 bucks I think).....BTW...Beaches n' Cream is one the best places to use the Q&C meal vouchers from connections..$11.25 gets you: an entree, one side, drink & any dessert(including the kitchen sink) on the menu..super bargain!! I think the kitchen sink is like $22 all by itself if ordered seperately....B&C is a fun place and is something we do each visit...just a tip: this is a very small establishment with very limited seating...try going at an off time to avoid a long wait...

They let us leave out the pineapple and peanut butter. If they aren't busy, they may let the birthday boy help make it and give him a certificate saying he helped. In my sig, is one we got for our grandson. He talked about it for weeks, and really made a dent (I ate all the cherries!). I personally think they are a big sloppy mess within minutes of getting it..but kids love it...or the thought of it anyway!

What is this voucher? I've never heard of it. How do you purchase it?

Thanks,

Joanne

You can no longer get the kitchen sink with a voucher. Its says so right on the end of the voucher itself.

On the top of the disboards is a section all about meal vouchers. It will tell you everything you need to know about it.
But when a friend went to hotwiresavings she was told they are unavailable at this time. (anyone know about this??)

The Kitchen Sink is fun but not that tasty. The No Way Jose is much better. Good luck.:D
