Hi Guys...

Something we have not dont yet and never seem to fit in most years is to have the KITCHEN SINK !!! :crazy2:

Has anybody done this b4 and did you make a ADR ???? :confused3

ta

We done it on two different trips. We didn't make adr for either. We just waited for table, when seated we ordered the "kitchen sink". Both times we were not the only ones to order it either. Last time there were 4 others. It is a lot of ice cream and toppings, a lot!!!!!!!!!

Ok cool we not sure what day to fit it in yet so id rather just turn up as when we feel the need to have and ice cream overload with the family.. :rotfl:

Yep got some friends who said it sure was BIG !

We have not done it yet but, from what I understand an ADR is required at Beaches and Cream now. Enjoy!! pixiedust:

I really want to try it on our next trip but I feel it might be a bit of overkill for just the 2 of us!

It's just me, DW and DD (9) we should manage that !
So do you need a ADR now , anybody confirm this please ?

It is a Table Service restaurant, so reservations are accepted.

Reservations are not "required" since you can always walk up on the day, but without a reservation you might not find a table.

We have done this twice and there was 6 of us. Two of you would not manage it!
There is a nice seating area outside and we have never had to wait longer than 20 mins

They only started taking ADRs in December.

We would never bother to make an ADR for B&C as it somewhere we eat when we feel like it - not risking the no show penalty for some ice cream!

I am sure if you went mid afternoon you would get in without and ADR but I don't know how long you would have to wait.

i really wanted to do this but with our dining plan i was so stuffed all holiday i just never had room !!

next time im going to for sure !!

happy ice cream eating

We did it a few years ago. It was great for the novelty but tastewise it was bluuughhhh. Its just a mushy slushy mixture, the whipped cream turns to liquid in no time.
We much prefer to share a normal sundae, they are big enough for 2. Or even better go for a Dole Whip.:goodvibes

Looks good when arrives but soon turns to this:

Wow Wayne!!!! I'm adding that to our things to do next time!!! There will be 4 adults and 2 little kids who aren't usually allowed much sugar. Bring on the hyperactive maniacs!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Was just about to ask if anyone had a photo :thumbsup2

OMG - I am not sure we could even try one tbh. It is as big as your Son's head - well not far off!!!

So, does anyone have a photo of a dole whip while we are on the subject here? I have no idea - keep conjuring up pictures of 'Walnut whips' which I am pretty sure have NO resemblance whatsoever :rotfl2::rotfl2:

My Son was so young there, now he is 19 and 6`3":rotfl:

The best:thumbsup2

Cool - thanks Wayne - looks amazing :thumbsup2.

However, I suspect we won't be able to have them as my DD1 suffered with a milk allergy/intolerance until about 18 months ago (outgrew thank goodness). She still can't have a lot of cow's milk and for some reason, can't have 'soft whip' ice cream - makes her quite ill . She can have 'hard scoop' ice cream (lord knows what the difference is, but someone told me it's to do with the pasteurisation?), so we'll definitely be visiting B&C but perhaps for an, ahem, smaller sundae :goodvibes.

Slightly OT - but has anyone seen or had an 'American Dream' slushie before in Epcot? I saw a photo the other night and it's gone on my firm fave list! :cheer2:

I think I need to meet you at Captain Cooks again - l'll buy the dole whips if you make them :goodvibes

Thanks for the photos Wayne, will still give the kitchen sink a blast as we never done it, but I now have the taste for a dole whip and we don't go till August ... LOL

How cute does Matt look in that first picture :yay:

Quite upset that Captain Cooks will be closed when we are there in May but hopefully they will be doing Dole Whips wherever they relocate the restaurant.
