Hi everyone, A while ago I was browsing a Disney forum and I saw that someone had asked a question about whether it would be ok or not to ask a cast member if you could get a picture kissing Mickey Mouse on the nose. I had to come off the computer and couldn't find it again when I got back on to see the replies but I thought it was a nice idea if it was possible, are adults allowed to get a picture giving Mickey a kiss on the nose, does anyone know? Thanks x

Oh certainly. I ask characters for cute pose suggestions and have kissed TONS of characters.

Here's my Mickey one:

Oh thank you Berlioz70! I feel a bit weird asking a cast member if I could get a picture kissing his nose thinking it's not allowed but the idea of having that kind of picture sounds really cute! Meeting characters is my favourite part of the trip so thanks for putting up so much imfo on them, it will be a big help! :worship: xx

We did it last time with Minnie. And in '08 King Louie would not let me leave until they got a picture of me giving him a hug. Its part of the magic! :lovestruc

Don't ask a CM - tell Mickey himself, that you want to kiss his nose.

Mickey's has ears - big ones, he can hear you, and I promise you he will oblige.

I wasn't sure who I would have to ask for that, I've never requested a certain pose before, however I've saw lot's of people's photos from their trips doing great poses with characters and I never used to get why my pictures with them always look so normal! lol Glad I know now, thanks x

Here's my advice... worth the price of admission alone.

When you visit character's the CM with them is really only interested in getting you through, and the next guest in. But, you CAN take your time, and talk to the character, and they will interact back.
My kids like to ask them things related to their stories. My daughter asked Belle is she read any good books lately.
My son sang "Wanna be like you" to King Louie - and they did the orangutan walk together.
My wife asked Mary Poppins "How do you measure up?" and also had her say "Supercalafradjalisticexpialodocious" backwards.
I told Mickey that "every time I come visit you it costs me a lot of money, and it's time you come to see me for a change"
I told Pocohontas my daughter sang "Colour of the Wind" in her choir, Pocohantas asked her to sing it for her.
Have fun with it. The characters love the interaction. It beats getting an autograph, doing a generic pose, and moving on.

Oh, and while you do all this, hand YOUR camera to the CM, and they will capture all these moments for you. ;)

That sounds amazing, I've clearly been missing out on great photo moments on my last trips to the world, thanks for the imfo! :thumbsup2

i so miss the fact that ariel used to have her dinglehopper with her in the grotto.

Yes. And if I can get this photo to work....I'll show you.

Donald always gets excited if you tell him he's your favorite. Actually, he also gets excited if you tell him Mickey's your favorite, but not in a good way. :rotfl:

You forget, hand sanitzers are not as effective.

You need to first thoroughly clean Mickey's nose with disinfecting wipes.

Then, you need to pull out your flashlight and check all of the folds of his clothes for bedbugs as you never know where he has been!

Are you allowed to clean his nose with hand sanitizer? Alot of people kiss that nose. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Yes I'm sure that nose is full of germs. Last time we were in the World we saw a family getting a photo with Mickey. Dad was holding a little one, maybe about 6 mos. old. Baby leaned over and starting sucking on Mickey's nose. Very cute and funny but.....YUCK!!

I worried about the sanitary nature of those noses, too, but DD2 kissed a bunch leading up to Mickey, whose nose wiggled. And if one's nose is wiggling, it must be okay to kiss, not to mention irresistable. She survivied.

yes, and i think if science has proven one thing to us, it's how deadly babies are.

Yes, you can kiss Mickey's nose. And if you're vertically challenged like I am, maybe Frozone will tease you and hold your child's autograph pen way up over your head and make you jump up to get it!! LOL!!

If you kiss mickeys nose just make sure minnie isn't around. She is a very jealous mouse!:)
