Kissing a Sickie

I let my DH kiss me even when he is ill. We are in a studio flat at the moment (waiting for our house purchase to go through) and never had a big enough place to avoid each other in the past, anyway.

I completely understand everyone's points about sending people to the guest room, etc - but he rarely gets sick (2 mild colds in the 4.5 years we've been together) so it isn't a huge deal for me. If he had something more serious, I would consider altering the policy!

did anybody see paula dean on kathie lee gifford's show (Today show i think??) at about 12:30 or so today (monday)?
paula, her husband, kathie lee, and hoda kotb were demonstrating baking hams for the holidays. i guess paula coughed on her hand, said it was only sinus drainage on her hands, and continued with the ham. kathie lee freaked!!! she left the screen and washed her hands. then told paula to go wash her hands. paula just blew her off. it was funny because everybody else just went about the show, but even if you couldn't actually see kathie lee, you could hear her talking about paula, and the cough!!!!!!!

To me thats just disgusting but what do I expect from a lady who can't cook without using 5 pounds of butter.

There is no way we swap kisses when anyone is sick, especially if you happen to love that individual.

Depends, on what the sickness is and who has had it. LOL Seriously......if I've already been sick then we smooch, if not then we don't. And it's his choice not to smooch me because he doesn't want me to get sick....

I don't make him sleep in another room, but I will admit I am glad when he hits the couch while sick. His tossing, turning, and coughing were keeping me up last night. And it's all about me...
