Kissimee and Taxis?

DH is having a day to himself, to visit Merrits(starting off at about 5.30 in the morning), seeing as DS will just have me to put up with for the day weve decided to hit a disney water park. Were staying in Kissimee, so wont have a car(well DH will have it!), I was wondering what its like to get a taxi from here and back again, is it viable, or is there another way?.

I'm sure a taxi would be easily available from Kissimmee, but may be expensive for the two of you (I don't know).

An alternative (maybe a little cheaper, but not as straightforward) would be to get a taxi to Downtown Disney and transfer to Disney transport from there. Mind you, Typhoon Lagoon is so near to DD that it wouldn't be worth getting out of the taxi at DD!

Sure you could get taxi's! You'd most have to ring for one to pick you up, but you'd certainly have no problems picking one up to get back from a park or even any of the resorts. (Depending where you are or going, I'd say you'd be looking at about $20$25 or so each way)

Are you in a villa or a hotel? If you are in walking distance to the 192, there is a Lynx bus that runs there. Costs a $1 and takes you to the TTC.

Take the Lynx to the TTC, and then use Disney transport from there to take you to DD, TL or wherever you wanna go!!
