I bought my Kirby 16 years ago when I was much younger & not as smart.
I do like it & it works well but it is heavy, making the stairs a pain to vacuum. The attachments are difficult to use as well.
I would never spend that much for a vacuum now. When this one goes, I'm going to look in to the Dysons that everyone here recommends.
