I was lurking on the Cruise Critic boards a little while ago and someone mentioned that Kino's was closed on Sundays! I hope not!! Any recent cruisers know if this is true??? I was really looking forward to purchasing several pair.

Please advise as it's only 2 weeks from Sunday!!

They were open on Sunday February 15th when we were there. They do close kind of early though, so don't leave this till the last thing.

I bought my Kino's last cruise on a Sunday and have been there before on Sundays. You can always call them or order the sandals online (very dangerous with how much I love them!!!!)
Kino's Sandals online

They were closed one sunday when we were there, but, they were open on the Sunday in mid September when we were there.

The sandals are great..just had mine on again yesterday..be prepared to want more than one pair..lol.

yes, you would love thes and the price! I have ten pair now, and i am always getting compliments on them. Now when i go to key west, i have to pick up sandals for everyone else!

Thanks for the replies!!

However, I just got off the phone with an employee, and at first she said they were open from 10-3 and then when I verified that I would be there on May 9th, she said "no, no, not then". I really hope she's wrong - she didn't speak very good English, so I guess we'll see when we get there!

Due to the fact it will be Mother's day, this is the reason they will be closed - I will be there on Wedesday, April 28th and will vertify it and try to post - if anyone wants me to pick them up some of the sandals, I would be most happy to do so - would you believe I still wear my mom's and she has been gone 25 years! - Keno's sandals have been around for as long as I can remember, a Key West tidbit - I remember when they were only $1.00 so that is going way back when.
Always

We were there on Sunday March 28th, 2004 and they were not only open, but so crowded that I could not get service. I waited for about 20 minutes, but the people in front of me hadn't even been served, my gang was getting antsy and so we left.....but not before snagging an order blank and feeling how soft the leather was that is used in the uppers. It was like "BUTTA". So now, just this week, we've sent in an order for 11 pair! AND we've decided to go back to Key West for a week in October, so I can get some more then if I like them that much!

We were there 2 weeks ago which was Easter Sunday, and they were open. I foolishly bought only one pair and when I got back to the ship, I figured that I would just run over when we went out again at 7PM to see the sunset at Mallory Square. They were closed, so I missed the boat on getting my red kinos!!
In the store, the syle I liked was only $9.00 compared to $19.95 on the internet!! So don't make the same mistake I did, make sure you get what you want when you are there the first time!!

I always make this my first stop before it gets crowded, and i am in and out within ten minutes. You just can't beat the prices!
