King vs two beds - POP

I want two beds at POP, not a king bed. It looks like the room class says it could be a king or two doubles. How do I make sure its two beds?

how many people are on the room reservation? If it's more than two people you will automatically get two beds (even if the 3rd person is a child, they will not put 3 people in a king-bed room...that room category is max. 2 people.)

Otherwise, when you check in, just tell them you don't want a king room.

Don't worry. Just call Disney and request that two doubles beds be added to your reservation.

Then add it again when you do online check-in.

Then double check with the front desk when you check-in for real.

Unless your traveling during a very busy period, you'll most likely be fine.

This is not always true, we are a family of 3 and ended up with a king room. Despite requesting 2 beds when we booked and fully paid in advance a whole 12 months beforehand. Our flight was delayed and we arrived around 8pm to be told there were no 2 bed rooms left. They brought a fold out bed in which worked fine, but if you have paid in advance there is no way they should be giving the room away. The cm said we would not be charged for the extra bed, I would have liked to see them try.

There are not a lot of king beds at Pop, so most likey you won't have to worry about it. As someone else said, call Disney and ask them to add the request to your reservation. There is not an option on the online check-in form for bed type, so that's out. Should you be assigned to a king room, unless it's a really busy time, you can ask to be switched.

According to the front desk reps at both the All Star Movies AND the Pop, bed sizes are not guaranteed.

No matter what you book and reserve.

In our case, we reserved kings. There were only two of us. Didn't matter.
