King sized beds?

We are making reservations for Port Orleans French Quarter for march, and we want a king sized bed as opposed to the 2 doubles. (We're still what you would consider newlyweds...) If we pay the extra money for the king beds, as opposed to just requesting it on your ressie, will you definitely get the king bed or is there still a chance that we won't get one? Is it better to just save the money?

If you pay for a king, you will get a king.

My best friend and her dh honeymooned at POFQ. They had a king room and loved it. Dh and I also think it's a very romantic resort.

And in moderates, where you can pay extra to get a king, it likelyhood of getting it with just a request is very low. There aren't very many kings and most are paid for.
