We have reservations to stay at CBR for our anniversary trip and have requested a king size bed, I was wondering if all the king size beds are in the handicapp rooms? I don't want to only have a shower in our room. Any help with this would be appreciated. Also where would be the best place to request? I don't need to be near the food court or the main pool, we want something that is on the peaceful side, but not so far away from everything that it takes forever to walk to. Thanks for the help

I am not sure about handicap rooms, however, when I stay at CBR we always get a King bed and the room is super spacious. The bed is huge, but you still have a table and 2 chairs (small round table) and in both King rooms I have stayed in there were two windows, which I think adds to the spacious feeling. We stayed in Jamaica twice and prefer it because its a nice walk to the food court, but to be closer to the food court, Martinique is probably your best bet. Here is a link to last summer's CBR trip if you would like to see some pictures I took. Personally Jamaica Bldg 45 is my favorite. Wish I could help you more with the handicap part, but I am sure someone else on this board can assist with that. You will love CBR , it is a beautiful resort. Have a nice trip!

It's the All Stars resorts where the King Bed rooms are usually also "handicap equipped" rooms. The King Bed rooms at CBR are regular rooms. We also like staying in Jamaica in building 45 or 46. Aruba is also very nice. It's a bit quieter then staying in one of the "villages" closer to Old Port Royale, but not too far.

I am not sure about the bathrooms in the King rooms at CBR. Why not try posting in the CBR FAQ and maybe someone else will have more information.

We have had king beds at POFQ and CSR and neither one of them were handicapped rooms. I would assume that CBR is probably the same but I am not positive.

According to Intercot CBR has:
1926 2 double bed rooms
176 King rooms
22 handicap rooms and
704 non-smoking rooms.

Only 7% of the rooms meet your criteria BEFORE you add any other requests.

Some of the rooms have guests who are continuing their stay. I'd say a king non-handicap room may pretty well eliminate any other requests. I think you have to decide what's more important location or bedding.
