King plus Daybed works really well for the three of us (Mom, Dad, DD8). I need my sleep.
It looks like my choices are limited to AKL and CR for this combination. Am I missing any deluxes that offer this?
Also, can I make a reservation for such a room and be guaranteed that I will in fact be given this configuration?
Also, is this configuration likely to be available for free dining (with arrival Oct. 2)?

I thought there were some daybeds at BC? I could be totally wrong about that...I just felt like I saw some pictures of a daybed in a room. I have stayed in a daybed before at CR and was perfectly comfy! (Don't know if you have used these rooms before but just sharing an experience :) )

I believe deluxe king rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2. The deluxes do not guarantee king rooms.

A DVC 1 bedroom would guarantee you a king and a queen sofabed, plus some have a sleeper chair.

You also have poly option:goodvibes

The refurb included adding kings to some longhouses and still have the day beds. Go to Tikiman's site for details.

At CR you can book specifically King Rooms (with a day bed) in the Garden Wing, we stayed in one in last year. The rooms were big enough and the day bed comfortable enough that 3 people should be fine in the room. We had to call to specifically book the King room (not the queen version). There are also king + daybed rooms in the Main building

The Poly and Beach Club have day beds too, but I'm not sure how to book there to get one of these rooms.
