I feel I should know this  but.........

I'm staying at POR in July. Would I have to pay extra to get a king bed room? It seems silly for me to have 2 doubles when I'm on my own. It could hold 4 people, whereas a king is for 2. Seems like a waste of space for me to have 2 beds in the room when someone else might need that extra bed.

I won't pay extra though. If 2 doubles is what I'm to get, so be it. Just wondered what the money situation was.

Yes, the King rooms cost the same as a water view room. Generally $15 dollars more a night.

A King bed does cost more unless you were to luck up and get an upgrade when you check in for free, but that only really works if it's not a busy time of year otherwise all the room would probably be filled. If you definitely want a king bed then you'll have to reserve it and pay the extra few dollars a night. Otherwise I would just use the extra bed to help hold things you don't have room for in the drawers or closet. :flower:
