Kindle owners....?

Quick question, was thinking of getting a kindle for our drive to Disney for my 1 year old to watch some mickey mouse clubhouse and maybe sit in the back and play some apps with her. I will be able to play videos that I have downloaded off of amazon for our drive right? I won't need wifi as long as it is already downloaded correct? Sorry, not the best with electronics. And....what is the best head rest mounter for a rear facing seat?
And any good apps for baby? Thanks!!!

There are different types of kindles. That sounds like one of the more expensive ones that you are looking at. All I can do on mine is read (paperwhite).

I have a Kindle Fire, love it. But I have not downloaded movies to it. I think you do have to worry about capacity. I tried to download a bunch of music to mine when I first got it, but ran out of space fairly quickly. I believe you can buy a Kindle Fire with more memory (like 32G), so perhaps consider doing that. Other than that, yea, if the movie is downloaded, you won't need wi-fi.

Editing to specify that mine is the least-expensive Kindle Fire, which has 8 gigs. Definitely go higher than that to download movies

Once a movie, book, etc is downloaded onto the devise you will not need wifi to watch it.

Yes but I wanted to mount it to the headrest and I won't be able to do that with my laptop, it's too big

I have a Kindle Fire and download about four full length movies and some tv shows from Amazon for flights.

Ok, my kids just watch movies from their laps on their laptops.

A Kindle Fire will work fine for your needs. Get the larger sized one with as much storage space as you can.
