Kindle fire hd - best price?

My daughter just told me that she wants to buy one of these. Does anyone know where to get the best price on one? I don't know anything abuot them. Thank you.

Best Buy has the 8 GB model for 139 this week. It is on their website. You can also find it on Amazon, not sure of the price. They also have a 16 GB model.
It really depends on what your DD plans to do with it. If she plans to use it mostly for an ereader and will keep only a few movies on it at a time, then the 8 GB model would be fine. If you want more storage of full movies, then get the 16 GB. I suggest you do a search her in Budget Board because I know the different sizes and models have been discussed previously.

Kindle fire HD 7in screen is 16GB, $199 @amazon.com. I ordered 3 of them this year for Christmas. Also Amazon was offering $50 gift card if I got their credit card, the $50 could be immediately used so I applied it to my order.

The price for the standard size one is pretty much fixed at $199 no matter where you buy it. The $50 off was for the big screen one, which is more expensive.
