Kindle Fire at Best Buy

Does anyone know if you still get the 1 month Amazon Prime membership if you buy the Kindle Fire at Best Buy or another brick and mortar store? Or, will it not even matter much?

I let my Amazon Prime membership that I had through Amazon Moms expire because I just wasn't spending what I used to and it was hard to keep up with. Now I'm kicking myself for not keeping up with it.

I purchased mine at HH Gregg and when I registered it I received the free trial of amazon prime.
