Hi all

Does anyone have any feedback on Kingdom Camera Rentals? It appears I can rent a DSLR (Canon) for 120$/week which is fantastic, but wondering if anyone's actually used this service and if the equipment is well maintained. Leaving soon for a trip and suddenly having "crappy camera regret". Not enough time to save for a good camera, and think this would be a good way to see if I like this camera (I've used Canon DSLR's before, but it's been a while).

Thoughts?

I used Kingdom Camera Rentals on our last trip to WDW in June. Rented a D600, 14-24/2.8 and 24-70/2.8. Representative contacted me the day before drop-off to arrange the time and place. Equipment looked and worked great. Representative contacted day before pick-up to arrange. The service was about as smooth as possible. The prices are a little more (per day)than some rental services but with no shipping and a shorter rental period my cost was significantly less than my usual rental (Lensrentals.com). For our usual trip to WDW, I would need to rent for ten days from Lensrentals.com to cover both weekends around the trip. I only have to rent for 5 days with Kingdom Camera Rentals and they come to me with the equipment. I will be renting from them again in 3 weeks on our next trip.

DH used them on our last trip. Great experience and he highly recommends them. The lens he rented was like new and customer service was stellar.

He says he will rent from them again next trip.

We started to rent from them a year ago but had to cancel at last moment. They were so cool about it and dropped off a cookie basket anyway.

All great feedback, thanks so much for taking the time to reply everyone, it's something I'm seriously considering at this point. What a great service to offer in Orlando.

We ended up going with ATS Rental because everything fell into place at the last moment and Kingdom didn't have the gear I needed at short notice. If you're shopping around, try ATS Rental as well, we had a great experience with them as well.
