For the last 7 years I have placed my DS who is disabled on the school bus. I always know he gets where he is going because someone has to get him and his wheelchair off the bus. He can't tell you with words how his day was or what he needs only with his eyes. (which will tell you everything you need to know if you take the the time.)
Today I put my DD who is in kindergarten this year on a bus. She asked me to meet her at school to make sure she got where she was going. So like the rest of the crazy kindergarten moms and dads I was there. But where the school told me to be wasn't where the buses where. So I searched for what I figured would be a very scared little girl, only to find her with another lost kindergartner.
To which she looks at me and says "Mom Kindergartners don't get lost".

I was able to get her settled in her classroom and make it too the van before I needed a few tissues.
