I have read a few places that kindercare actually has a daycare for use by guests on the WDW property. Every number I have found has been disconnected. Has anyone every used kindercare or know if it still exists. I am assuming it may be the one that the CM's use and get a discount at (associated with the YMCA).

Thanks

Though, they do have new programs available

on the WDW official home page, I found this info. You can find it by going to the official website and then doing a search for "kid program"

"Children's Activity Centres

From what I remember (don't hold me to it!) the Kindercare didn't allow "outside" (i.e. drop in or not regular employees) infant care either. The WDW website does talk about "in-room" care as well. That might work. The bonding/background checks are supposed to be very stringent.

Traci:

I used the in-room Kid's Nite Out babysitting last year with our 15-month-old and I would highly recommend it. I was quite nervous about it, but our sitter put us at ease. She was a retired woman WELL versed in dealing with little ones!

The YMCA is the only onsite childcare with 2 locations and they are only for CMs. Kindercare closed. I thoroughly researched this in May when I had tickets to Regis and Kelly in WDW. Except for in room sitting ot bringing your own sitter you are out of luck before 4pm or with younger than 4 y/o. In room sitters are a minimum of $14 an hour $12 transportation fee and minimum of 4 hours.
