Kinda Sad tonight...

Well my husband and I talked about it, and we have 4 snakes (those are his pets) and a dog (my dog) and we decided to try to find a home for the snakes.. i'm kinda sad that we are going to get rid of them ( we might not get rid of them, if we can't find a good home for them) We have had the snakes for at least 6 years

i just wanted to post to try not to cry, but it's not working

There's no harm in crying about losing your reptile friends. May you find good homes for them.

I'm so sorry. What kind of snakes are they? I grew up with snakes and I even have one now as a classroom pet, they all have their own personalities. The one I have now hates me , but that's OK, he's little. I'm sorry that you can't keep them.

Thanks guys, the guy that my husband email is a reptile resuce place. He said he is in new orleans right now, but still has some very good friends here that he will call tonight and see what they say. I asked my husband if we can just get rid of the larger ones because (even though all 4 our his snakes) i'm not really that scared of the small ones and i have been the ones taking care of them. He said it will be better to get rid of all 4 of them, since we dont have the time to really "play" with them.

2 of them our 8 foot red tail boa's a male and a female that share a 500 gallon cage and the other 2 babys are ball pythons that are pretty small for their age.
