I dieted during the summer......July through early Sept to be exact. I watched what I ate however I didn't exercise much. I didn't lose a single pound......
It was actually quite discouraging and I have since added on about 3 lbs......i'm 4' 11" [short I know] I have gained this weight AFTER trying on my wedding gown and am now worried that I won't fit into my dress.
I have a couple of months before my first fitting and would like to lose at least enough to get back to where I was when I first tried on the gown. How long did it take all of you before you began dropping the pounds? I know some people take longer to start dropping but once they do it goes more smoothly......maybe you can offer some advice, suggestions etc?

to help.
Imagine my surprise when I came home from my cp at Disney and promptly gained 20 lbs
The worst was when we went to Disney in May and got engaged. I look back at the pictures and I'm just shocked at how I look. I don't have a warped sense of my body image, but the visual was just the final confirmation that I was unhealthy. Tired, sick and achy ALL THE TIME. So, I read the You: On A Diet book. And it is totally a lifestyle change. I started walking. I threw out a ton of bad foods. I thought DF would freak, but he has been just as eager to lose weight. I eat 4-6 times a day. I still enjoy a couple of dark chocolate squares every other day; I don't starve ever. I've lost 15 lbs. I've been so much healthier. I sleep better. I haven't hardly gotten sick this winter!
But if you don't want to buy the book you can check out the
