Kinda OT but I'm so mad (long)

This is pretty OT, but needed to vent. My company is restructuring, and they announced no one can work less than 28 hours. My bf works there too, but as a part time 2nd job. He's been through a lot of crap in his life-diagnosed w/cancer at 8 (luckily it's long gone) a bad marriage when he was too young to know any better. 2 wonderful kids, that he supports pretty much on his own. He is in management there so we figured he was safe. They fired him tonight 11 and 1/2 hours into his 12 hour shift. We had a plan, (now on the backburner): Save for an apartment, hopefully by the end of the year, he had already started looking for affordable engagement rings, we were hoping for wedding in Vegas (paid for by dad) in 9/06, followed by a honeymoon in WDW in 10/06. Now, I don't know, he has to find another 2nd job, want him to raise his kids w/out a struggle. Feel guilty whining w/all that is going on in LA, MS the war in Iraq, and this being the anniversary of 9/11. I should count my blessings I am just so annoyed.
Sorry so long, had to vent somwhere.

I'm sorry he was laid off & hope he'll find a better second job. He sounds like a wonderful man.

I totally understand as I am gonig through the same thing right now. PM me if you want to commiserate....Our wedding is 8 months away and financially this is just driving me crazy.
