Was I the only one when she was kissing him at the end of the show that kept waiting for him to turn into Alex? Especially as he was saying, "I am real. I am here for you." I kept thinking they are going to pull back and she is really going to be kissing Alex but NO!

What makes you think that that's any farther than anything else they've done in this storyline?

I guess when I watch a show like this I believe that the actions of the characters are routed in some small bit of reality. Having sex with a ghost is a little far fetched for me.

We don't know what is the actuality. This could be (is almost surely) all in her head.

So why is she all flushed? Uh, there are ways that could be, in actuality, but the specifics are probably inappropriate to discuss in open-thread eh?

I think the new doctor is perfect for Christina. I can't wait to see how that plays out.

I know it is a hallmark of the program, but I do think that there is simply too many different couples being focused on at once, on the program, at this point. I like how they've let Mer-Der to become a sound coupling, without all the drama of previous seasons. I like the drama around these two characters are now all about their careers. So that doesn't add to the cacaphony that I'm referring to. However:
- Lexie/George
- Cristina/Owen
- Izzie/Denny/Alex
- Callie/Mark/Who's Next?
Too much. Personally, I'd like to see them focus on Lexie/George, and Izzie/Alex (not Denny), and that's it. Let the attendings be attendings, i.e., teachers.
