good morning everyone. this weekend is going to be :sunny: and warm. too bad i'm stuck inside 9-5 both days :rolleyes: . o well..good news. i lost another 2 pounds! the scale reads just below the 165 mark, so thats what i'll say. 2 pounds down to 165. if this keeps happening, i'm going to start to love coming to work :cool1: . this week was an ok one. i've done all the regular excersizing, but i did miss thursday. i had won tickets to a concert, and they gave me backstage passes to meet both bands and all that jazz, so i had to run directly from school to the concert..but i think i forgave myself :rotfl: . i had won a digital camera so i could be the "official photographer" of the band for the night, and i was so nervous about meeting them, i hardly ate. so thursday was an iffy day, but otherwise everything is wonderful :goodvibes . well i have some paper work to get done, so i have to be running. i hope everyone else has had a great week, and have a great weekend! :wave2:
 
so today is another day, and i'm not really sure what happened yesterday. i was all psyched about losing another 2 pounds, i didn't think i'd let myself slip. here is how it started. i talk to my mother about my progress and such, and she tells me her own experiences. she had told me that many times she will lose a lot, and then the scale will stop moving. she told me that she finds that if she diets, then stops, and then starts up again she will lose more weight. i didn't think anything of it until my body toning teacher said something in class. she told us that the best way to diet is to diet, and have one day a week that you cheat, and then you go straight back to the strict diet. she said many people don't do this because it takes a lot of will power to go back onto the diet. i was at a stand still, and i tried this, and the next two weeks i had lost 2 pounds each week. i might be wrong, and this could be a total coincidence, but whatever it is, its working. either way, i guess yesterday was my cheat day :rolleyes: . i'm pretty disgusted with myself, so i won't even get into it. o well. maybe its bad that i almost feel that its ok to cheat one day? is it bad that i don't feel as guilty now? maybe i'm going about this in the wrong way. :confused3

I think that you have to choose a plan that will work for you. Not everyone is the same and not all "diets" will work the same all the time with all people. Personally, I still believe in following portion control and making healthy choices. Sure, there are days that are not so great, but that happens. I guess you need to ask yourself if you are trying to get the weight off fast or if you are trying to develop a healthy lifestyle with better habits. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo
 

thank you lesli. i feel like i am always complaining, and i don't want that, but yesterday i felt so sick. i had these horrible pains in my stomache..i just woke up and i feel better, and hopefully it will stay this way. i don't want to miss another body toning class :sad2: . so there was no exercizing going on yesterday, and not a lot of eating. i hope everyone else is doing great. have a wonderful day!
