Wondering if people on the list have done this? If so, what is it about?

It was in our Mickey Monitor we received. We did not get a chance to do it when we were there, we were only there 4 days and then did the 4 day cruise.

It's a great attraction - we just did it last weekend. There are seven "missions" through the World Showcase countries. You get a Kimmunicator (cell phone) and it shows you a video and tells you about your secret mission. There are several clues that you have to follow that interact with different items in each country you visit - I won't give them away, but they are really cool. we loved it.

There's a good thread on this with more info on the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies section.

hi ,
i just tried 3 different searches on that thread with no luck..

i just can't make the search work !
can someone provide a link to it ?
many thanks !

thanks for the info..
oddly .. did not work when I clicked directly on your link..
i just had to copy/paste !

do you know where I can get info on this activity once you are in epcot ??
is it widely known yet ??

It's not offically opening until January 29th, I believe. But it was open when I was there as a "soft" opening to see how it would work. You can go to either Innoventions building first to get the most detailed information. There's a display set up and CMs are there and they explain everything about the attraction and how it works. There are individual kiosks in several of the countries as well, staffed with CMs, where you actually pick up your 'mission' when your time comes up, and they can give you plenty of info too. The three I recall for certain are located in Norway, Italy, and at the International Gateway - right near the bridge taking you over to France.

We did it sunday and to be honest it was over in 10 mins, perhaps its just the one in France that is so quick, but we where not impressed at all.

The mission in France is pretty short - should have tried the one in Japan - it's the best out of all of them. We loved the fact that you could do the country again and the mission would change. It was a great way to send our kids off through the WS while we took our time.

Wow, sounds exciting... We haven't tried it yet. Looks like a challenge will happen, am I right?

My bro and i did the one that starts in Norway but mainly takes place in Mexico. We absolutely loved it.

We are going in Feb. and my DS6 loves secret agent stuff. Can you choose which "mission" you go on? and if yes how do you know them all, is there a list?

Thanks for the replies. We have booked a trip for May and are looking forward to trying this out.

We just did the one in Norway. It was fun. Our boys 3 and 6 liked it. Especially ds6. It took us a good 15-20 min. to complete. Longer then I expected. But I was also trying to keep the boys together and it was crowded. The boys wanted to do it agan!

We just did it this week. We went into Innoventions (next to the Umbrella restaurant) and gave them a park ticket and they printed out our Mission Ticket (kinda like a Fast Pass) It told us what country to go to at what time to start our mission. We had to get our Kimunicators in Italy (which is actually to the right of Italy, not "in" it) and then were sent on our Mission in Japan. My girls (3 and 6 years old) loved it and really got into it. You can have up to 3 Kimunicators per family, we just had 2: one for each girl so they wouldn't fight.;)

The Kim-municators are quite loud, though, and if the kids don't hit the buttons at the same time, they take to them out of sync (its almost impossible to hit the buttons in sync, so you hear the monolague from each Kim-municator (an LG phone)slightly off from each other, and its confusing if the kids are standing close together when listening to the directions...

Our Japan field mission was great. The girls were disappointed when it was over and wanted to do more!

Here are some pics of the Kim Possible Mission I posted on the Theme Park Strategies Board:
we just did the Kim Possible Mission this weekend. It was really great. Here are some pics!

We got our "pass" for our Kim Possible Mission in Innoventions, by the Electric Umbrella. We swiped our Park Ticket, and it gave us a choice of how many Kim-municators we wanted (we chose one for each kid). Then it prints out you ticket with the time and place you need to start your mission:

We went to Italy (actually, a Kiosk to the right of Italy) and handed in our Ticket and got our Kim-municator. You can't miss the people, they are dressed in Kim Possible Purple costumes!

The Kim-munnicators told us at each point where to go for our next clue, and has a picture of the location on the Phone screen. You have to make sure to stand in the right place then press the OK button on the Kim-municator for it to work. You know its the right place when your phone makes the Kim Possible sound

On this clue, when you press your Ok button, the lantern ignites for you:

In the Coy Pond, you activate the waterfall in the tall rock

In the rock garden, a laser light of a Japanese symbol comes through the rock

At some point you are taken into the store in Japan (surprise!)

And find the Bebe Baby who pops up at you!!

We ended our mission having to place our Kim-municators in this "statue" and our mission was complete!

This was the Japan Mission. There are others around the "world" and its very cool. The girls really got into it and were disappointed that it had come to an end. We weren't sure if we could get another mission, so we just did that one. Boys and girls and even adults will like this. Its really a great way to explore the countries of Epcot!

This sounds like such a fun small diversion.
We are looking forward to this attraction:cheer2:

We just got back from WDW we did the Kim Possible mission for Norway. Personally we did not enjoy it, it was cute but for a 27 and 28 yo we just didnt fing any excitement in it. Just my opinion!

I hope they have this around in May. My oldest niece (whose family I am going with in May) used to watch Kim Possible a lot (when Disney Channel aired it at a non ridiculous time of the day). I bet she'd love to do this with me.
