I have no idea where Davenport is, but we like to end our hols with a bit of Disney golf & a meal at TGIs or the like. For us it's a final bit of Mickey Magic

When flying from Sanford, we usually head up to the Seminole Towne Center Mall which has lots of places to eat and of course, tons of shops! The big bonus is, you are only 10 mins from the airport, so you can either check in your bags and keep the car a bit longer, or as you are so close to the airport, drop the car and get a cab.

We find the journey up to Sanford can often take an hour or more from US27, so its wise to leave plenty of time to get there. Im the sort that has to be close to the airport on the last day - no parks for me, but plenty do do a park on leaving day.

Agree with the Seminole Towne Center but Central Florida Zoo is up that way too, so may be worth a visit.

Bear in mind that hardly any of the shops in Seminole Towne Center will be ones you recognize...

Theres a list of shops at Seminole here.... http://www.orlandotouristinformationbureau.com/shopping/malls/seminole.htm

I was going to say we usualy drop the luggage off early, then go to a nearby mall thats about 20 mins away, which I "thought" was Seminole, but I just remember it as a regular Mall, with familiar shops, so possibly i'm thinking of a different mall. I remember there being a cinema there, which can kill a couple of hours quite nicely.

Are we thinking of the same place? The one we went to had a Disney Store, Gap, JC Penney, Bodyshop, Footlocker, Victorias Secret etc etc. Its on 3 levels and has loads more shops than the Florida Mall! We really like it!

No, Seminole Towne Center is only on two levels. Has a food court in the middle a bit like the one at the Mall at Millenia. And a piano shop at one end, as well as a shop that sells pool tables and hot tubs.
