Will my 15 mo be able to ride this, and if so, would we park our stroller somewhere at the entrance, and then are we dropped off near the same location?:confused3

Also, can I take a stroller on the wildlife express train? Is this a ride, or does it just take you to a certain location?

I think you'll be OK. I took an 18 month old on once. You'll need to do a good job of holding on to your child and keep him/her towards the middle of the seat. The ride is quite bumpy in places and there are no restraints.

There is a stroller parking area for KS...if I remember correctly (and its been awhile), it might be one of those attractions where the stroller gets moved closer to the attraction exit...

The train takes you to Conservation Station (not sure if thats still the name). You can get off and walk around there for awhile. I would think you could take the stroller with you, but someone else can vouch for that.

On the Safari, there will be a stroller parking area about halfway through the queue. You will have to carry your child or have them walk the rest of the way. On the way out, you'll be able to retrieve your stroller from about the same place. So you will have to either carry your child back out or have them walk. Note that if you decide to the the Pangani Trail right after the Safari (it's easy since you exit from the Safari close to the "entrance"), you won't have your stroller at that point.

For the Wildlife Express, the train takes you out to Rafiki's Planet Watch and Conservation Station. We were just on this over Labor Day weekend so I remember the stroller instructions. All strollers have to be folded up on the train. You will have to fold it up before you cross the yellow line into the waiting area. And you will have to wait at the other end until you are cleared of that yellow line to unfold it. So, you will have to carry your child or have them walk on and off the train and for short distances before you board.

We took out 14 month old and he loved it. Stroller parking available. And yes dropped off at same spot. Short and sweet!!!;)

I took my 9 month old on the safari and she loved it. I knew it would be bouncy though and I didn't want to drop her out ;) , so I put her in my Baby Bjorn facing out so I could be more hands free and not worry about it. It worked well because then I could still take pictures and she was safe.
This next time we're going she'll be 21 months and a lot bigger and a lot more mobile :rolleyes1 , so I'm going to bring my ERGO carrier and put her on my hip, then she'll still be attached, I'll have less worries and she'll be safe!

The PP had it right about the strollers for both the safari and the train. We took ours on the train and folded it up (Phil & Ted's E3, very lightweight).
