Kilauea Torte at Kona Cafe?

Hi, when i went to Kona Cafe in feb, i realy wanted the Kilauea Torte but it has changed from the really chocolatey one to a new version... like a sponge cake with chocolate chips.... But I was just looking at the food thread and noticed that somebody had a photo of the origanal tort along with the tuna (which was a recent change) sooooo does this mean the old Kilauea tort is back?? I really hope so! can anyone confirm this?

I think you will be happy as recent reports say the yummy all chocolate version is back!
I too did not care for the 'blondie' version at all.

oooo yay, i do hope so! I love those melting chocy cakes!

Also i hear the Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tart has been taken off the menu....i didn't like it anyway so i don't mind but im sure there are alot of people who do.

That is good news. I had the blondie during one visit and was asked if I enjoyed it and I told them no. I liked the older version much, much better, and would not purchase this new version again.

Jeesh - for a minute there I thought you were saying they added tuna to the torte! Yikes!

We'll be there in August and I hope to try the torte for the first time. It sounds awesome!

I just read my first post again..... no the tort doesn't come with tuna! Thank goodness! I don't think it would be very popular... + =
