First question - can the meal deals be purchased on site? Still trying to figure out if it is worth the $11.99 for kids.

DS will be 4 on our trip and is a picky eater. I see they have some of his favorites, spaghetti and pb&j. But he likes strange combinations, like spaghetti and fries, or pb&j and mashed potatoes. On the meal deal, I know it is unlimited, but would they let us go through twice to do that? Or could we order spaghetti and fries and since we have the meal deal, it would be ok? We did order some of the adult meal deals when they had the Mastercard promotion :cool1: But we didnt order the kids meal deal. I tried searching for kids menus and prices, but had no luck. Is it worth it if we plan on eating 2 meals in the park?

Last question, I know there is supposed to be no sharing with the meal deal, but does that include kids under 3 as well? Our youngest is 1 and picks off everyone elses plate. Well, that and his diet of goldfish crackers :rolleyes1

Yes it can be purchased on site. Don't know about the little ones sharing but they hardly eat anything anyways, so I know what you mean.

We did the meal deal on our last two trips. If you plan on eating all day in the parks it is worth it- I think you need to eat at least three meals to break even. The kids meal is very limited- our son is almost 9 and we got the adult tickets for him. He went through two or three times while my husband and I went through once each meal. I saw many young- age one or two - eating from their parents meal deals while we were there and no one said anything- so I don't think it would be a problem with your one year old. I also saw a few people go through and get one meal for a spouse/other person and then go back for themselves:rolleyes: no one said anything about this either.
I enjoyed the meal deal but would probably only do it one or two days out of each trip- after awhile it does get repetitive!

We have the 7 day passes and will be spending at least 2 days there all day and a few more partial days. We have 6 adult tickets and will split those 3 each day. DH, myself, dsd 13, dss 12. I figure at least one person per meal will want something that is not on the meal deal. I think I will get another refillable cup when we get the meal deal ticket for ds4. Can the cups be purchased on site, since we have already gotten the meal deal tickets?

Thanks!!

The cups can be purchased on site. We only bought ours for the first day and used them all week for refills.

There is a difference between the Meal Deal Sipper Cup and the regular refillable ($1.60 per refill?) souvenier cups. I think with our AAA discount we filled the kids Big Cup for like 1.41 or something like that.....the three of them shared it the whole week. I can't remember if we left it or brought it home :confused3 (I do know we brought home the plastic beer pilsners:thumbsup2 )

Hold onto your souvenier cups! We just packed ours that we bought last year to use again this year. I was THRILLED when we bought it the lady told us to hold onto it so that we could bring it back every year! I put it in the cabinet last year and it looks as good as new!

So the meal deal cup cant be refilled for the rest of the week (with a charge after the first day)? I thought it could?

You can use the meal deal sipper cups for the rest of your trip and just pay for refills. They work just like the refillable cups/mugs you buy at the park.

Whew! Thanks! I was counting on using them!

No charge for filling with ice and water though, right??
