Kids' School Uniforms?

A couple other places I haven't seen mentioned yet...Old Navy and Childrens Place. I got a few of my dd's uniform pants at Old Navy because they carry slims.

We bought ours at Target last fall. The French Toast brand they sell has both reinforced knees and adjustable waists. These were a must for us. We have 1/2 day kindergarten and I only bought him 3 pairs of pants. They've lasted fine so far & I'm sure will make it to the end of the year if he doesn't grow any taller.

My DD will start a new school & wear uniforms (of a sort) this year too. It's an easy uniform though, solid top (any color) & solid bottom (any color, including jeans). The one problem I have is that they aren't allowed to wear anything with hoods, not even coats. Now, I really like this idea until it comes to buying the coats!! Have you tried to buy a jacket without a hood lately?? It's hard to say the least, so far I haven't found one. Any suggestions??

Try looking for one with a hood that pulls off. I know alot of manafucators (sp) have snap on hoods.

I love Burlington Coat Factory for uniforms. They carry the Lee brand which is wrinkle free and wears wonderfully. The prices are very affordable and I found the quality much better than brands of similar price.

For the poster looking for a coat w/o a hood, many jackets from Lands End and LL Bean have hoods that zip on and off.

Do you need a receipt to exchange at Sears? Also, is the guarantee good on all brands or just their brands? My sons have gone through several jeans this year, that was one big worry I had about them wearing dress pants!

The guarantee covers all clothes bought there. You don't need a receipt for their store brands that only they carry. I believe they're called Covington or The Kids Source (TKS).

Any other jeans that are sold at other stores you need receipts for. I try to only buy the sears brand b/c as hard as I try I can't seem to hold onto receipts.
